Hi, G enclosed by a circle usually means "guidance", as in the programme recorded has a guidance rating because it maybe contains strong language or adult themes.

Every recording has 3 files with the same name the main file with the video (.ts) and two support files (.hmt and .nts). You don'e see these when using the Humax UI. Are you accessing the disc externally as in using the custom firmware ?. If so you will also see .thm thumbnail files for the chapter graphics. |

Firstly press OK not record to get the series options. HD means programme is HD, HD with right arrow means you are on a SD channel but the programme is available in HD (pressing OK you will get the option HD/SD), a blue symbol with stacked folders indicates you can request to record all episodes of a series. Sometimes you might see a jigsaw puzzle icon, this means the recording will be a split event (like a film in two halves with the news in the middle). |
