Hi all,I'm after some advice.ive got a ps3 thats got quite a lot of content that's been bought from playstation store.
I've just bought a new ps3 with a bigger hard drive and I need to transfer my content from old to new ps3.
I know how to do this ( I think) but here's the problem,on playstations website it says you can't transfer songs bought for singstar.i have quite a lot of them which cost a few bob.does anybody know if this is true? Any help appreciated.

I'm unsure if they will transfer or not.

But you can always just redownload any of your purchases in the PS Store.

No singstore purchases will not get transferred and you cannot re-download them off of the playstation store either; they're registered to one system. I won't be buying anymore songs for singstar after this happened to me. It's atrocious.

You phone Sony and they will release the drm on your old PS3 and allow you to download again on your new one. It takes about 5 days or so.

So with singstar the standard 3 activations isn't valid? It's only one ps3?

yeah singstar was always different.

when my previous PS3s have broken down and had replacements I could always redownload things, but had to get Sony to do the singstar purchases. I guess its something the music industry demands that its locked down tighter. They simply raised it at their end and told me it would take about 5 days. After this I was able to go to singstore and redownload.
