Do the Friends Cast still keep in touch?

I know that Courtney and Jennifer do as they are spotted together and Jennifer is the Godmother of Courtney's child. But was wondering about Matt, Matthew, David and Lisa do any of the cast hang out? As they were such good friends..

Good question! I'd like to know too.

Also, was it true that the main six were so close during the filming of the show that they froze out guest stars like Helen Baxendale? That always seemed like tabolid rubbish to me, but you never know...

I heard Matt Le Blanc being interviewed a few times recently because he was promoting 'Episodes'. When he was asked this question he said that (on his part at least) they do keep in touch occasionally and he knows what they're all doing, but he's more likely to meet up with them on a one-on-one basis rather than them all socialising together as a group.

I didn't know that they were that close during the filming of the show. Is it true? That's nice. I still want a Friends reunion!!!

Lisa Kudrow was pictured with Matthew Perry recently, so I guess they're still on good terms

I had heard about them 'freezing out' guests like Helen Baxendale, but I don't know how true that is. Sometimes, when a group of people are really close, it can be hard to get to know them, but they're not necessarily meaning to be unfriendly. I know that when Elle McPherson appeared on the show (and trust me, she should stick to modelling - acting is NOT her forte!) she was pictured out with Lisa Kudrow.

Elle McPhearson was appalling on Friends. It didn't help that her character was probably meant to be unlikeable. She's beautiful, but she's not an actress.

They started the show as 5 unknowns and Courteney Cox. When it came to renegotiating their contracts for the 2nd year, the 6 went as a group, getting a substantial pay rise with all of them getting the same rate. This continued up until the show finished. I think if they weren't close, they wouldn't have taken this strategy.

someone should write a movie screenplay called FIENDS about a few vampires and werewolves and banshees and ghouls living together and cast each of the 'friends' stars as the monsters. Not tell them who they're working with till the contracts are signed and they turn up on the set.

That will get a Friends reunion only now it will be Fiends.

I'd like to see a show featuring Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, the Wolfman, the Mummy, Jekyl/Hyde, and the Phantom of the Opera called "Fiends" which would be a fluffy sitcom almost exactly like "Friends" featuring all six of them living life in New York City....but absolutely no reference ever being made to the fact they are anything out of the ordinary.

I took the episode where he is calling all the Friends cast and they all hate him as a sign that they like him a lot in real life.

I was thinking that. I'm sure if it was a real problem we would have heard from other guest stars saying the same. Who knows, perhaps Helen Baxendale isn't that likeable. Her character certainly wasn't.

I thought that part was hilarious

And the running gag that nobody would give him Jennifer Aniston's phone number as well was very good.

I suspect they'll get back together for some kind of anniversary of the 1st episode or something like that. They won't film any new material, but I imagine they'll probably do a group interview that'll be filmed for TV.

When David Schwimmer was on Loose Women, I think it was last year, he said that the last time that all six of them had been together was when the show wrapped.

Obviously once something finishes you don't expect those people to be together very often, but still it was quite sad to hear.

Wasn't there something about Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer not speaking because Jennifer didn't even know David was engaged, let alone his fiance/wife pregnant?

As far as I'm aware of, most of the cast didn't like Schwimmer. Didn't he want the biggest salary when they renewed their contracts because he thought he was the main character?

thats interesting because many media outlets and bloggers who have met her said lisa kudrow was the slighty mean one. just goes to show how different people perspectives and we shouldnt just take one persons point of view. sherri shepard and reese witherspoon largely gave credit to aniston when they appeared on the show..so who knows?

Didn't Lisa Kudrow appear in Dirt (Courteney Cox's first show after Friends)??? Courteney has certainly appeared on Web Therapy, Lisa's show - so they can't be on bad terms.

....I dunno if they all keep in contact still but Matt LeBlanc (Joey) has clearly aged the worst ..which is ironic as he was always the youngest looking one of the bunch, the others don't look like they have aged that much.
