Yes, an unjustly "forgotten" US sitcom. It was quite good and had a remarkable cast.

It was "unjustly forgotten" and it is sad it was so good i loved it and still do. I much preferred this and fraiser to friends. And all the cast were brilliant but of course my personal favourite is Joe.

Why do I always get 'Wings' confused with Sam Elliott's series 'Once an Eagle'?

Very underrated show but not surprising it was good with it been from the makers of Cheers and Frasier and if I recall featured a few of the Cheers characters appeared in it, I know Frasier Craine was in it but not 100% sure if Norm and Cliff were also in one.
Must say that it did go down a bit when Lowell left the show
Have them on DVD and now got the urge to dig them out and watch again.

I was background in Wings. I was on a movie tour in California and a brunette that looked like she was bored from sucking wasps up a straw greeted us as dear old friends at the end of it. She was all "If you'd like to be on a movie set right now come on follow me." She said movie set and not TV set. I doubt it would have mattered for any of us. I was as much a sheep as anyone else.

I wish I had a better story but we got led by the hand to a lot about fifty yards away, and some people had hats on or given luggage to hold, but for the most part we were just told to be ourselves. i started miming speech to the lady next to me and was told to just talk naturally. I thought it would spoil things but apparently pretending to talk looks idiotic.

It was background for a crowd scene at an airport and we were supposed to be agitated. If someone can tell an episode I'll Youtube it and see if I find myself.

Never watched the show. Kinda wish I had. I made two hundred dollars, which I spent on clothes the next day.

Considering the show is set in an airport need a bit more info than that.

Watched season 1 disc 1 last night. Just started disc 2 and who should appear

Also just noticed that the producer is named Roz Doyle So that is where the producers got the name for the producer in Frasier.
