If the Doctor's Ganger returned ...
The possibility was left open that sploshed Gangers could be restored through some sort of memory trace. So if the Doctor's Ganger returned after he had regenerated again, would the Ganger 'catch up' with the regeneration the way it sort of went through the previous ones? Or would it still be the Eleventh Doctor? And what exactly do I mean by 'after' when the Doctor is a time traveller?
![]() And if it were still the Eleventh Doctor, what if it got stabilised by the TARDIS, then got shot and regenerated? Would it regenerate into the same Twelfth Doctor or a different Twelfth Doctor? Or can a Ganger regenerate at all? And most importantly, does anyone care?

Frankly, That episode wasn't a classic, and I wouldn't really want to be reminded that they actually made that episode.

Both 11's Ganger and 10's Double from Journeys End strike as perfect ways to bring back both Tennant and Smith after they've left without any awkward explanation of how a past Doctor can take part in the same adventure without the future doctor remembering or how the Doctors are older than they were when they last appeared (I presume Gangers age)

The flesh was formed as the eleventh, so it would stay the eleventh. Unless they tell us something more later, to allow it to change.
