Advice sought re Kobo ereaders & vox
I have been looking to buy a Kobo ereader but then I noticed the Vox version. Although more expensive It has more features.
I'd like to ask for people's experiences of the machines and whether the Vox is worth the extra money. Thanks |

I believe the Vox doesn't have an e-ink display, if so then it won't be very good as a e-reader.
Using an e-reader such as Kobo, Kindle or Sony is pretty much like reading a printed book and so is much easier on the eyes. |

I have a kobo vox and i use for ebooks all the time, it can be a little bright on the eyes but you can change settings and colours, its not that fast online but it works great. The vox does have a lot of bad reviews but honestly i have had mine since january and have had no problems at all with it.

Depends on what you want. If you want to read a lot, it's better to get a dedicated eReader with eInk screen. If you just want to do a bit of daily reading, a tablet with LCD screen might be a better investment. But eInk feels definitely better on the eyes, it's like reading a printed book.

Some people prefer a bright lcd screen, some prefer e-ink.
