What do you mean by most genuine, she's always done reality? And I don't know about Katie being more open now..? She's always been pretty much an open book - her past reality shows have included such titles as "The Truth About Me' "You don't even know me" etc... How much more open can you get?

I personally don't find her entertaining at all, she has a monotonous droning voice and endlessly talks about herself (fair enough, it's her show...but zzzz)

Where else has she got to go? Nothing she has done for the last couple of years has gotten her the sort of publicity she was getting with PA.

She came out of the break up looking/acting and sounding like a vindictive, vicious biatch... most of which was the pain talking... but people took PA's side and even the people who have not become disillusioned with him have not become fans of hers.


She will not get wide sales of her clothes as most women will not buy clothes from her range because they don't want to admit where they came from.

She desperately needs to rebrand as she has been pulling the same stuff since her early twenties and a decade on it just looks sad.

I don't know where you have gotten all of your facts from but you are totally misinformed.

Katie Price is an extremely successful business woman with a £45 million fortune, even her haters will agree with that and there is no doubt about it that she is a hard worker and a grafter.
All of her clothing lines sell very well, her KP Equestrian has taken over 80% of the equestrian market, her Day 22 brand, majority of the clothes sell out quickly, they have been seen on a lot of celebrities and it is a very successful brand. Then her lingerie/nightwear/swimwear line, Katie's Boutique is the most affordable celebrity brand around, a lot of the products are either completely sold out or most of the sizes have. The reason why Katie's clothing ranges are successful is because she puts problems which everybody has and puts them in to a brand, for example she has made an affordable lingerie range because of the recession. Katie has added something colourful and different to the equestrian market. Her Day 22 brand offers something different and fashionable.

Then her books have sold nearly 5 million copies making her one of Britains most successful woman author's. Yes she doesn't write them but everybody which buys them, knows the fact yet they still buy them. Katie also has another autobiography due out next year and 2 more novels.
Katie has also released 3 perfumes, which make her the 10th best selling celebrity in the UK. In comparison celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears were not even on the list.
You might not like her but her career is far from failing plus even if she still can lead a comfortable life with the £45 million she has already earnt. You might say that she has no fans, that she is getting old, she has enough money so she should give it all up. But why should she? If she enjoys what she does, if there is still an interest in her and her products still sell well then she would be silly to stop now.

I'm going to ignore all the pr spiel you've included above but will agree with your last par: she is plainly still selling, and people are buying so yes, why on earth should she stop doing what she's doing? It may be cheap and tacky but no one is forced to buy her stuff therefore we have to conclude that those who are buying it are doing so willingly and because they like it.

Personally I would rather go naked than wear something of hers but you know, each to their own.

IMO she's more genuine and unscripted than a few other so called reality shows . You can tell she's a lot happier this series and is definitely just being herself in front of the cameras. She always was open but she just seems more relaxed and very entertaining to watch.

I have to say I don't believe KP has a fortune of £45 million... I'd be astonished if she had half of that... Adele has made £20 million selling her talent... am I supposed to believe KP has made double that selling her tat?

KP is not a business woman... she is a promoter and I will agree she does a wonderful job at that... she does not do any real work aside from promotion though.

Personally I think her clothes are cheap tat and just because they sell out does not mean they are successful... a more reliable method of discerning success is the number of units sold.

I have no idea about her perfume... I do not know anybody who has bought it and it is always reduced when I've seen it.

I find your posting style to be extraordinarily aggressive... this is a forum for people to give their opinions... you may not like my opinion... which has not changed one iota despite your post... but there are better ways to address it than insulting me... I very much doubt the £45M fortune but what a strange comparison to make (with Adele), when we all know quality has nothing to do with a person's earning potential? Pile 'em high and sell 'em cheap has always been KP's MO and it's plainly a formula that works for her, and more specifically, her bank blaance.

Additionally, she's been around for what, 15 years or so (I'm guessing here) and appears to have a shrewd brother who manages her finances, so I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that she has accumulated the amount she's reputed to be worth - but in the £30M range, rather than the amount referred to in that earlier pr spiel.

Have you got a link to prove that figure as I would very strongly dispute that seeing as the majority of people in the equestrian world would be very unlikely clients.

Well this thread seems to have a lot of make believe in it, so might as well up the anti by suggesting that the £45 Million figure seemed to surface when the relationship with PA soured. Most of her earnings were down to PA and the Coffee Machine he walked off with was hers really too. Truth or not, Katie trades on the so called "Reality", any attention whether good, bad, sour, or dubious is what she wants.

Whatever she's worth I think she is seeing a decline in recent years, both in her earnings and capital. People like Alex and Leo appear high maintenance and whilst seemingly neccessary "props" for her "reality" sales pitch, could likely be nibbling away more than they have generated.

It's unlikely whatever happens she will ever be poor moneywise by any calculation. Poor in other criteria and getting poorer quite likely.
