Pastry but without the fuss
Im wondering if there's anything out there that comes maybe dry in a package...
thin and pastry like, maybe rectangular pieces 12" by 14". You could lay them out and put a filling in... perhaps steak and kidney ... chicken curry etc. fold, and this "kind of pie" would be ready to eat, or with say 2 mins in the micro . Im thinking of something pastry like but without the fuss of 20 mins in the oven . A flexible thin pastry ready to eat . You could also use it for fruit pies also . There must be something out there ... somewhere ? |

Pastry cooked in the microwave won't taste good.
You can get ready made & blind baked pastry cases if you are that lazy. |

How much fuss is opening an oven door?
you Can just buy ready made pastry and put your own filling and leave to cook. I'm sure you can find something else to do in the 20 mins it takes for it to ready? |

You can buy ready made in the fresh and frozen section of the supermarket.

Don't even think of cooking pastry in the micro. I guarantee you'll be phoning for a takeaway.

you Can just buy ready made pastry and put your own filling and leave to cook. I'm sure you can find something else to do in the 20 mins it takes for it to ready? Say 30% microwave power and 220 oven. I do this to reheat pies/pasties in the microwave. Oven always gives the best results though. |

I don't reckon it is possible.
Even keema paratha takes ages to make. |

Jus-Rol Frozen Puff pastry comes in ready-rolled sheets that are rolled up. You just thaw them, put your filling in and bake for 20 mins. It couldn't be easier.
