Top up via cash machines...

I've never had any success doing this with any cash machine lol. I tried topping up a friends phone for them as they were stuck for money & it fails. I can't even top up my own phone with it lol.

Is there some sort of secret to it? Why offer the facility if it doesn't work (at least for me). I've got a normal current account, maybe I have to use my banks machine (Gnatwest)?

Maybe theres something not provisioned on your account to not allow top ups?

Maybe, it used to be one of those basic accounts when I had bad credit but they upgraded it to a standard account with Visa Debit after a while.

Not too much of an issue, I just buy a voucher & text them the number lol

cheers all
