Luke S is growing on me (a bit!)

He's never really done anything wrong, in my book, apart from (seemingly) leading Ashleigh on. I think his relationship is meaningless and just a way of getting airtime. He also does other things like repeatedly hugging Shievonne after the non-task task, as though he didn't give a toss about her but just wanted to be seen hugging her. Vying for airtime doesn't bother me much though.

He often assumes the role of front man, too, which would annoy me if I was in the house with him. If the HMs wanted to look through the window they'd have to wait until he's gone first, and even then he might not shift out of the way. I don't think he even realizes he's doing it and it does come across as a bit selfish or thoughtless, but as I'm not in the house it doesn't bother me too much.

He does seem fair, and that, to me, is important. The way he reacted to Arron's hissy fit was spot on. And all along he's never been that tight with his two cronies. While they're content to act like a pair of assh*les Luke has never actually joined in (feel free to correct me). Looking at how he interacts with the group in I'm a mountain back gorilla (video) I can see how he'd be quite likeable. And his vanity is just laughable. If I was in the house I'd take the micky out of him for it and I think he'd probably take it quite well.

I'm not saying that I want him to win, or even be in the final. No siree! Just that he's not as much of a kn*b as Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber. It's a shame he ever chose them as buddies because they have probably cost him the game.

LukeS is OK. The funny thing is he probably compares himself to last year's winner Aaron and he thinks he is going to win.

He's only a knob when he doesn't get his way, which shows the major issue with him — he's controlling.

He's lucky it hasn't shown him up yet, but it would if someone more of an alpha male came in.

Do you think? To me he seems to be being himself, although his 'relationship' seems like an obvious ploy.

I don't mind him - he isn't as obnoxious as some of the others. He has put himself in charge though - but I blame the others for allowing it to happen. He is also a bit of a fence sitter but he does stand up for things when he thinks he has to and he isn't in Conor's league when it comes to being a knob.

I just find myself a bit indifferent to him most of the time.

Compared to Conor and Arron, Luke S is Mother Theresa!

He's a total nob IMO and a boring one at that

I hated the way he tried to bait Deana about the wedding money

Nasty little git who's just better at hiding it than the other two meatheads

Unlike your good self LukeS irritates the shit out of me the way he has to be 'first in' at everything. I'm repeating myself here but, for instance he's always first through the door when there's any change being made to the house or a new task laid out. Same goes when there's a new task, he's there at the front to be first to participate/organise, Jay was the same last year.

I also wasn't keen on the picnic malarky and the making of the flowers - again, too Jay.

So in a nutshell - I'm not keen on him. I prefer Adam.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about that. He did seem determined to portray her in the worst possible light. And when she tried to explain herself he just changed tack. It wasn't very nice.

About time OP.

He's a decent bloke.
If people weren't so blinded by the desperate pleas for the sympathy vote from the others, more would realise it.

I'm going to take the BiB as a compliment (Hey, I've gotta get 'em where I can!) Yes, he does push his way to the front and, like I said, if I was in the house it would really annoy me. Either that or I'd just tell him, because I don't think he's aware of it. He's probably used to being a big fish in a small pond, so to speak. Looking at it from the outside I'm kind of glad he causes some friction. It's a shame that Luke A doesn't just take the bull by the horns and confront him as I think they might have got on. It might be too late for now though.

Ah.. I'd forgotten about the flowers/picnic. That was very Jay, wasn't it. I really don't like HMs who copy off someone that's been on BB before. Okay, I'm going off him again now. Thanks for bringing me to my senses.

I loathe him with a passion. He's a strutting, preening cockerel with an overweening sense of entitlement. He appoints himself leader of the green team, discussing how much of his shopping budget he will allow the smokers to have.

The others are stupid for allowing him to have so much say in that house. If I was in there I would clash horribly with him - I am not a lover of control freaks.

I like him in a way. I enjoy that he has no time for Arron or Connor's antics in spite of being part of their 'trio' and has never really shown himself to be openly vindictive. I do think he's a nice guy and he's made me laugh on some occasions, he doesn't seem like a complete moron either.

It's just lushleigh and his need to be in charge that puts me off of him. I really think he'd be a better HM without Ashleigh and maybe vice versa, but oh well.

He's vain and often thoughtlessly selfish, but I do believe he's a decent bloke and would probably be quite amiable on the outside. There's no way I'd want anyone who has a lipstick kiss tattooed on his 'guns' to win though.

Whilst I agree with you, the fact that he's like that makes him a good HM, I think. You see, he's not horrible to anyone, and the pressure that he applies to the other HMs is an obstacle that they should relish to overcome. How else are they to demonstrate their strengths if not by standing up for themselves. It's just a shame none of them seem to have the minerals (cockney accent implied ) to fend him off and put him in his place - as an equal.

'Scuse me?

There's a few of us, and I'd bet there are far more away from this forum.

We like Ashleigh as well in this household.

Do you know why it's there?

Do you know if it was done as a joke when he was drunk or something like that?
Seen a lot worse that were.

I think I think what What Joe Thinks thinks. Found myself agreeing with all of that. Which is remarkable as he was in my bottom 3.

Thinking back I'm not entirely sure why I took agin him... Can only put my finger on the smashy back door stuff. Didn't like that but....[sigh].... maybe I just need to accept that's how we talk now. :-( Maybe I'll check with Mr Tinks later to see if he would like any doors, or any other fixture & fitting, destroyed.
