Its about the time of day when the Kat haters, in fact the women-haters in general, come on line, so you should have your answer soon.

I think that one has gone over your head. I don't think I've seen you engage in posting on threads where you're debating - more really baiting. There are also forum rules regarding that too. If your purpose is just to moan on here and complain then fine, let us know that but please don't copy and paste rules which we are already aware of.

Well you were complaining about the content of EE yesterday, and today you're reminding us about rules regarding attacking looks of an actor and other derogatory remarks. So have you now changed your mind and you're saying that is FM's who are to blame rather than the producers for showing offensive material ie Kat's S/L

Oh I see. This topic was put in a sarcastic manner. because I along with others were engaging in describing Kat this past week. She was being portrayed as that, and I have always made clear if I have said anything negative about Kat that it is Kat, rather than Jessie, that is the problem.

I thought you were more interested in hassling OFCOM than 'engaging' in several discussions for EE Mary?

Loving the 'yet'

Fair play to you.

Btw, I was under the impression that one of DS rules was we weren't allowed to refer to people as "haters" - hope nobody reports you - imagine how ironic that would be.

but surely the rules are different when talking about a fictional character, fair enough it's a bridge too far calling someone ugly because actors share the face, and that's a horrible thing to say, but just because I say Kat is a slut does not mean I am calling Jessie a slut, I don't know her at all, I know Kat from what I see? Just asking.

And I am very educated, and yet I can think of no other words to call a lady who constantly sleeps around, cheats on her husband, and emotionally abuses him frequently.

Don't see how it can be against the rules to call a 'character' such a word when that is exactly how the show is trying to portray her.

Bit bizarre that.

I totally agree with you but I don't see the purpose of this thread because what you've posted is not telling us anything imo. What you're doing, instead, is being sanctimonious as you were in your thread yesterday. I do wish some on here would leave the moderating to the moderators. I don't mind in being told I'm out of order from time to time on here but as an adult, I'll say what I want within the constraints of the forum rules.

The point of this topic was to point out how bizarre that ruling is, because, as mentioned above, the show is portraying the character of Kat Moon (a fictitious character) in a certian manner.

ah right, now I have got you. So your point is that you think it's ironic that FM's are being reminded of speaking in such derogatory terms about a soap character who, by her very nature, is promiscuous? Because it looked to me that you were trying to cause a stir on here again and you've now done a U-turn.

Slag, harlot, lady of the night, or, as Peter Griffen once called Lois while they were engaged in some risque role-playing 'diseased prostitute.'

The problem comes when male characters who engage in similar behaviour aren't called names quite as aggressively - Max for sleeping with Stacey for example... When Jack and Roxy slept together a few months ago, it was Roxy was received most of the name calling.

Sexism is still alive and well in some areas of life.

The governing of all these posts is an arduous task, but I suppose somebody's got to do it I don't think there will be many Forum Members left once the minority have had their way in complaining about posts and their content. I await my warning, in anticipation I do so hope that the same exposure is afforded to the amount of pious posts I see where the rule of respect the poster goes way outside the window quicker than Dracula's bats on heat.

The only word I have for men like him is man whore, not very catchy, but it makes whore sound like a default setting for woman. It really is a double standard.
