Say what you like about the way the actor looks if you report it as I did nothing happens.
But heaven forbid you call a fictional female character a slut or slag
And I guess this means we can not discuss official soap awards who have awards such as best bitch that being a derogatory female term
Double stands, more like triple ones. And if you say anything about a woman be prepared to be called anti female. Never mind if you said just as bad about men. Saying anything negative Tanya/Kat in particular will get this name thrown your way.
I think it was the sheer volume of derogatory terms that brought along the notice. The board was awash with it and so it was a lot more noticable. The odd derrogatory comment here and there about men perhaps fell under the forums radar?

Or it could be that the notice was created because of an outside influence. Perhaps tptb at ee saw the comments, especially if they wanted feedback on the Kat plot.

And were surprised she was getting called derogatory names?! They created this storyline, surely they must have known that there would be a backlash against her and the storyline from some viewers? Treating adultery like a lottery where Kat's the prize? I have to say that in EE's history there have been much better 'Whodunnits'

Somehow I don't think they anticipated this backlash, in fact Jake wood and the guy who plays Ray posted on twitter a couple of months ago about an amazing storyline, which i'm sure was this one.

The thing is Kat was once a popular character and they cannot see that is no longer the case, or they are unwilling to admit they made a mistake. Kat was once the tart with a heart, she was amazingly popular but they ruined the character by bringing her back.

I think they are too scared to sack her, because frankly at the moment she's the most iconic female character the show has. Of course that will change when Sharon arrives, but at the moment they are putting all their faith in a character who is past her sell by date.

I actually think they won't be too worried about the reaction as they say there is no such thing as bad publicity

For some obscure reason, I get the impression that they anticpated that viewers would love this plot. We love a good whodunnit, we apparently love Kat so we'd lap this up. Only we didn't, it hasn't had the desired effect and it has put the show in a bad light. They won't be happy with this reaction, i think they were hoping it would turn things around.

Great. More censorship. So now we've lost the right to openly discuss a fictional character. I can understand not attacking their appearance, but...wow. Brilliant. Just....brilliant And that is all I have to say on this subject.

I might not be around much anymore; I like speaking my mind, and the fact that I'm no longer allowed to do so in regards to a FICTIONAL character is (IMO) quite frankly a joke. I feel like we're slowly losing our right to be critical, and in the end any negative remark about EE will be reported, even if we say "I didn't really like this episode"

Isn't slut an accurate description for someone who sleeps around and flirts with lots of men when they are married?

Still at least we can still call her a "whore".

I wonder if the rules apply to all the people who call Jack a "slut", is it ok to say it about men?

Bit bizarre that.
Yes if there was ever a repeat run of 'Prisoner Cell Block H' no one would ever be able to discuss a single episode, with that rule.

You cannot have a open and frank discussion regarding EE when you have a soaps editor that is way too close to certain EE production team members, so remember the next time you get a ban it will be because Kris and Daniel don't like criticism of Eastenders,

And for the record i was a PBU called Berties Assets/Steven Walking and i earned my latest perm ban because i dissed Dan2008.

First Post, latest perm ban.
Actually i was having what i saw as a bit of Freindly Banter, I didn't even know you 'Dissed' me and Nor do i care. I've no idea where you got the idea i reported you from but i can only assume someone else reported you for whatever you said.
I couldn't careless whether you think it was me however.

I am NOT Kris Green and Daniel Kilkelly nor do i work for DS

Oh shoot! That's right, but we are only woman who know nothing about comedy and must accept if our husbands want a second wife if we are not up to the task.
