I was recently given a Technosonic LCD2602ID LCD TV which was not working, and the remote was also missing The main on / off switch was not making on the neutral so I fitted a new switch, and then the TV came on... however, in DTV mode when the menu came up the tuning menu was greyed out, and when in ATV, even though you could access the tuning menu, it was painfully slow, didn't find anything (even when a Sky box was modulating onto Ch 32) and eventually the TV switched itself off. I changed the main board and the power supply board and that solved everything but the DTV tuning menu being greyed out. I have the Sky box tuned in, but when I goto DTV it shows a DTV splash screen, then goes to "No Signal". Pressing the menu button brings up all functions you would expect, but the Tuning menu is still greyed out as it is when in SCART mode. Am I missing something? do I need the remote to tune in DTV on this model? The main board also fits the STRATO LCD26DVB01 and the TEVION LCD2610ID. I have a remote on order for it which has not arrived yet. I hope when I have this it all becomes clear!
