I'd like a slicer - any recommendations?
I find chopping and slicing veg etc a bit difficult.
It's slow work (for me anyway) and I often end up with mess, debris and juice verywhere!. So I'm looking for a good electric chopper/slicer. I'd like it to be fairly compact, easy to clean, and able to chop things like onion, carrot, garlic, leek etc. There are a few online and I can't decide. Any recommendations? |

If you want a non-electric solution, this as a very good, safe mandolin that will slice, chip and julienne:
