3 times tonight!!! I mean, why no just bloody show it 3 times a week, not 3 times in one night!

Looks like ITV1 is off my viewing tonight then.

Right....where that listing magazine....?

Showing the programme three times in one night is just sad and unimaginative scheduling.

ITV1 have the gall to think that everybody is so soap-obsessed that they will spend their entire evening waiting around for delayed episodes of Coronation Street...although most people probably will.

Jeez calm down.

It's a special, with some content that can only be shown after 9pm.

When the world cup can't be shown because of a special Coronation Street then you can complain.

Using the term 'special' lightly.

This whole Maya storyline ran out of steam months ago. She's an overblown, overacting nut - how much further can they stretch that?

If all they have to rely on for the next month is Karen McDonald's overactive facial gurning then yes, they have.

I could not give a **** if it has "special" content, 3 times a night is quite simply not on. We are not all interested in this form of entertainment, and it seems ITV could not give a stuff. At least the quality of the scheduling is consistant with the quality of the programmes.

I'm sure I read somewhere that all the Corrie this week is an attempt by ITV to reach it's required viewing figures so they don't have to refund advertisers after the poor summer ratings. No idea how true that is though.

Admittidly, Corination street is better than Eastenders, but it still sucks :P

Specials after the watershed are usually only there to attract more viewers to the regular show, well, it seems...

Yes, you are correct, this week with all the Corrie and "I'm A (Z) Celebrity..." they are calling it a "Programming Blitz".

If ITV dont make the required audience share at the end of the year they will have to pay back in or around £100m to advertisers

This sort of discussion is starting to get tedious, quite frankly!

The question is could ITV be any worse next year?

Apparently I'm a celeb needs to get over 60% audience share for ITV to be safe, last night it got 35% - things aren't looking bright

Even though it was on 3 times by the end of the last episode I wanted more!

Huch'net - what do you mean for ITV 'to be safe'? There's no talks of closure is there surely?

Its only natural that there many people who will not be impressed with three Corrie in one evening and all the extra episodes this week, just as much as there are some myself included, who are really enjoying this storyline and will watch. As I only watch the soaps, it does me.

What do you guys watch? What would you like to see on in place of Corrie? I'm not having a dig, I just want to know what kind of shows you're interested in?

Safe from losing £100 million! They'll have to make a few cut backs I imagine...I'm not sure but losing £100 million can't be good! So ITV is safe but they need to get their act together if you ask me!

I personally am loving the whole Maya storyline. It's only one week that they have extra Corrie. If all you have to rely on is your TV then you, notCorrie are sad. It's special like someone mentioned---if you don't like it, don't watch it! People that do can watch and enjoy it. Surely that doesn't harm you?

no shows get 60% yet the closed is the soaps which can pull up to 55% audience otherwise most of time that 60% is fought for by the 5 main uk chanels but on occasions itv and bbc can get 30-35%.but that means the other share go down like if bbc gets 355 itv wil have a underperforming slot with like 15% when they want 25%.
