Lost 35 years worth of Doctor Who memorabilia!
My ex wife has sold our house and told me to come and clear the rest of my stuff from the loft. When I got there I went to get my stuff and guess what, she's dumped the lot.
All my Denys Fisher stuff (Tardis, Doctor figure, Leela, Cyberman and Giant Robot all in original boxes) all of my Doctor Who target novels, DOctor Who weekly and monthlies from 1979 - 93 (including issues 1-4 complete with original transfers), one cybergun prop bought at a convention, loads of signed photographs including Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee and loads loads more including all the Weetabix cards I collected as a child. All of it taken to the tip! Heart broken doesn't even cover it! |

It was there 3 weeks ago when I went up to get other stuff. I've been clearing it out slowly because I have a storage problem at my place. It was all packed away in boxes!
She said that she cleared it out at the weekend, didn't bother looking in boxes that weren't hers and just chucked in the back of her boyfriends care and took it to the dump. She is an evil bitch, she knew how important DW is to me and how I've kept a lot of my childhood toys in their boxes. Loads of Action Man stuff gone too and other Denys Fisher action figures! |

Ah, so sorry man.
Got a load of old Dr Who VHS's and TARGET novelisations, probably not worth much, but real sentimental value. |

I of course know nothing about the circumstances of this case, but this does seem a bit extreme, your ex must have known how much this would upset you.

She went to court to force the sale and accepted an offer on Thursday last week. She then went into the loft and just dumped everything. Circumstances of the split up, she had an affair then told ME to leave. |

Oh and why did she tell you to come and get it if she'd dumped it?

Sorry, I'm just really upset by it, I even remember getting this stuff when I was 7. I've been keeping it in such good condition all these years, not to sell but as a legacy for my own children, its all I had and now its on a tip! |

![]() PS: By 'the weekend' do you mean yesterday? Because they might have kept it, I read about someone who dropped their wedding ring in a tip and found it after about 12 hours.

That's awful. I really feel for you Dr Qui.
Is there any way you can contact the tip or the Refuse Dept. to see whether they could find it ? Possibly for a small reward. ? There may be DW fans there or perhaps have noticed the unusual items as they sometimes check for what can be recycled. |

Sounds like criminal damage at the very least, dependent on the value of the collection. A very not nice thing to have happened.

Dunno whether you could go down the legal route, technically she has stolen and disposed of your property.
I think there would definitely be a civil case in it though. What a total utter c*** of a b**** she is. |

I would most definitely take her to court for this. Those items would have been valuable, in monetary terms, not just personally to you.
