Such a tragic story, had hoped he'd (and the girl) would be ok when I first read the story.

Is there no way back once someone has been declared brain dead? (I'm not so good on medical issues) thoughts are with the family just now. Must be such a truly heartbreaking situation.

Such a tragic version of events made even more tragic by the fact he is so young.

If there is no brain activity it is unlikely they will wake up and if they do he could be seriously brain daamged forever...

Chances are they will have to make a decision generally hospitals give the family a few days to say goodbyes, my bestfriends sister was hit by a car same thing went brain dead and they decided after 2 days to end it and donate the organs.

yes and no, I mean she had no quality of life left and her organs gave others hope and life. So she lives on in many people.

I know Usher and fam are going to have to make choices and sometimes you keep the faith thinking "maybe he'll wake" but you do have to be realistic.

Thank you soo much for sharing that with us, Not many people seem to care, if it was Ushers real son wonder if people could be bothered then.
