Sony Bravia - Forwarding and rewinding on iplayer
On the KDLHX853, when i am watching iplayer and press the forward button, it forwards 20 minutes.
Is this standard, or am i doing something wrong. How can yo forward e.g. by 1 minute or 5 minutes. Also is there a way to enter what time in the video you would like to forward to. |

Not sure about TV as I use PS3 myself but it's dependent on how long you hold down the button, a quick blip or a longer press. There doesn't seem to be any way to forward or reverse by an exact amount of time though. iPlayer in my Humax box is the same so I presume the software is similar for all devices(?)

I've a KDL49CX523 and holding the fast forward button forwards about 1-2 minutes a second - as can be seen on the on-screen display.

Is there a way maybe to post a picture or video to better explain this please. |

What do you mean by the on screen display?
Is there a way maybe to post a picture or video to better explain this please. The third from last row of pictures (EastEnders) shows the on-screen bar I realise that this refers to Freesat, but a similar bar appears on my Freeview TV so, I assume, it's a feature of iPlayer and not equipment specific. |
