The best ever #2 singles

After Andy Murray finished second at this year's Wimbledon, we started thinking about the best songs that also just missed out on the big #1.

We chucked together our ten favourites in a post here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/ne...ry-videos.html and were wondering what you guys and girls thought was the best ever single that got stuck at number two?

Mario - Let me love you...
Not the "best ever single", but I still can't believe it didn't hit number-one here.

Rihanna's 'Russian Roulette' and Maroon 5's 'Moves Like Jagger' featuring Christina spring to mind, but there are probably many more. Some of my all time favorite tracks never even entered the chart to begin with though.

Haha. Yeah I bet she's feeling really depressed with two no.2 singles and a cabinet stuffed full of award trophies...

You know I wouldn't mind betting that I prefer most of those songs to the no.1's which kept them off the top spot.

Mariah Carey - We Belong Together
This should have been number 1, and was only outsold by 2 Pac's single at the time by a mere 300 odd copies.
