Trouble connecting to Orange

Hi I was wondering if anybody could help me.

I have a HTC Desire S on T-Mobile, I live in a village that can't pick up T-Mobile signal where my house is so I connect to the Orange network which is fine. However all day today my phone hasn't picked up 'T-Mobile Orange' and I don't think I've done anything to it. My other half is on Orange and has signal in the house. Any tips?

Thanks

Try doing a manual network search by going into settings and mobile network.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and I can connect to my WIFI easily inside the house and do browsing etc. but when I go out the house I turn my WIFI off and when I was in town today I tried to access Facebook but it said "No Connection".

I checked in my phone and under Wireless and Networks I found that under Mobile networks that Data roaming had been turned off.

Do I enable this to start browsing out of the house where there is no WIFI and if I keep this switched on but if i'm not browsing the internet will I eat my MB up?.

Plus once I have finished browsing and checking Email and I close the application via Task Manager will I be charged

I've manually searched networks and it doesn't come up. Funny thing is after I made this post it came back, but now it's done it again. I've got no signal and haven't had all morning yet my partner has in the same house. And the really f***ing annoying thing is that as I write this and browse the net it keeps popping up with the network operators screen offering 02 and Vodafone. **** OFF I don't want them networks.
