Premium text messages?
My partner was looking through his phone bill yesterday and he realized he had been charged £1.50 for a 'premium rate message' that he apparently received.
I typed the number into the internet and it came up as some competition win thing that you sign up for and it charges you money for sending competitions to your phone. He definitely has not signed up for any such thing and never replies to 'spam' messages, they are immediately deleted. Has anyone else experienced this? It outrageous that companies can just start charging you for anything they want as simply as that?! |
