Ron Perlman, top bloke!

Really nice story here about how Ron Perlman made a sick kid's dream come true.

I bloody love that man. Always have. I always thought he was underrated, so when he did Hellboy I was over the moon.

Please get him in Doctor Who for a guest spot!

He really hates putting on that make-up as well, lovely chap.

Bet the Lad had a fantastic day.

Bless him. What a wonderful thing to do for the boy and to take the time to get all dressed up/made up for this. A proper gentleman with a heart of gold.

Four hours getting made up and then spending all day in it must have been exhausting. It was a really great thing to do and that little boy's face when he saw Hellboy in the flesh must have been a picture!

That photo of Ron & the little lad with a huge smile on his face is so heartwarming. Ron, I salute you!

He is such a great guy...he does seem to spend most of his acting career in some sort of prosthetic.

Not heard how much he hates it though. He did, of his own volition, in Hellboy 1 have the whole Hellboy naked torso prosthetics put on for a shot because he thought it would look better when Del Toro wasn't that bothered.

I ♥ Ron Perlman

My favorite actor since I was about 10. It only took nearly 30 years but he finally got some mainstream recognition thanks to HB. I'm always posting about him on the 'Weird Crushes' thread but it's not weird, is it? He's just really, really fit! And for some strange reason, reading this story just made him that little bit more attractive. Go figure

After loving him as Vincent in the 80's, I always believed he was a great guy. Fab actor too - an all round good 'un!

He would have made a far better Judge Dredd than Stallone and would have had no problem with keeping his helmet on throughout the film

He would have been perfect in that role.

His performance as Salvatore the deformed hunchback Monk in The Name Of The Rose is amazing. Should have received a best supporting actor, Oscar nomination at least. You would hardly recognise him mind you, the makeup is so well done. Brilliant film as well. Recommend any Ron fans who haven't seen it, check it out.
