Sky+ box whirring noise every morning
I've got an older Sky+ box in our bedroom. Every morning at the same time, about 5.55am, it clicks and makes a brief whirring sound. Why does it do that?

Yeah it's info being sent from Sky to your box. They do most of this stuff during the night. Used to annoy me rotten but ear plugs are the future!

Ha Ha we just changed our box in the bedroom from a standard box to a Sky+HD box and wondered why it whirr's. Now I know.
