I can't get over this guy's generosity.

Wow, how generous, rich man gives away shoes.

I'd like to win the bid, just to throw the shoes at his head.

Surely paying his taxes in full would be a better way to contribute to society.

Take That main man Gary Barlow was a popular choice to present an award last week at shopkeeping school the Fashion Retail Academy.

He gave the Commitment Award to Shauna Harding from the Higher Certificate Merchandising course. Barlow admitted that on first being asked, he was bemused. “I don’t present awards, I get given them,” was his response.

After hearing about the academy’s work he was happy to get involved, to the delight of the students and, notably, chair of governors Kim Morton.

I'd happily give away all my shoes if they were going to be thrown at Borelow's huge head

I should imagine his fans will each try to outbid each other to be the winner of the bid

That was my thought! He could have got so much money separating them. I'm sure one of his devoted fans would happily pay £1,000 for one shoe as for a pair of them!
