[Game] The Z Factor - SemiFinal!

Last time on The Z Factor, the final five performed a theatrical number and a vulnerable number. However the result was only up to the public with no sing off and in the end, Aiden Grimshaw was sent home leaving our final four acts. This time, the final four will be performing two songs - a Guilty Pleasure and a Get Me To The Final Song!

So let's welcome the Final 4!

I've Got Class' Series 7 Acts

Unclekevo's Series 8 Acts
The Estrelles
James Michael
Janet Devlin

Bazzthemans' Series 5 Acts
Hannah Bradbeer

Bboy1988's Series 6 Acts

So, judges confirm your presence please!

Let's start the semi-final and judges that aren't here can catch up!

The first semi-finalist performing tonight is Janet Devlin performing her Guilty Pleasure and a song she thinks has what it takes to take her to the Final!

Guilty Pleasures
Lena cover of What A Man

Janet Devlin

*standing ovation*
Wow, you absolutely delivered on every level imaginable Janet. I thought that the Lena track was a fantastic performance as it allowed you to once again show that you have really electric vocals, not to mention how you can sing such a wide variety of songs but still put your own Janet twist on them. In contrast, the second song was much more slow and melodic but had an absolutely brilliant feel that just suited you so well. You're an amazing act Janet, I have thoroughly enjoyed mentoring you and I hope you make the final as you deserve to!

A standing ovation for Janet! Will the audience agree with it though?

Up next is the act mentored by Bazztheman, hoping to get to the final, it is Hannah Bradbeer!

Guilty Pleasures
Depeche Mode/The Saturdays - I just can't get enough (Wallis Bird Cover)

Get Me To The Final
Mindy Smith
One Moment More

This song choice has a simple melody, but has so many deep meanings. It actually has a really deep meaning, and is incredibly emotional. The reason for picking this song, was to really showcase Hannah's vulnerability as an artist. Her voice has so many layers, and I think the richness of her voice, can really bring the lyrics out of the song, just like Mindy Smith does. IMO this is one of the greatest pieces of music ever written, and can affect every person who listens to it. There is always that person we would like one moment with who is no longer with us. I think no other song could have been used to help Hannah get to the final, it showcases her journey on the show.

Janet Devlin:-

That Guilty Pleasure song choice was absolutely FANTASTIC Janet your best performance of the series in my opinion. It was cool, edgy, and extremely current I found it a mesmerising performance, and it showed me you have the ability to make great pop tunes, i was so happy to see you do that performance. Your second choice for me, was a little bit of a let down, it didn't give me that emotional element i was looking for. It was still a good song choice, but in some parts it was a little bit boring, and monotonous. However I think with that first performance you will be sailing through

Hannah:-

*STANDING OVATION*

What terrific performances Hannah, im the proudest mentor right now! You totally reinvented Just Can't get enough you made that song completely your own, it was fresh and funky and you controlled the audience, it showed what a terrific musician and performer you are, that was the energetic performance we were waiting for. Well what a final song choice Hannah, you poured EVERYTHING into that performance, it was one of the most emotional performances I have seen on this show, the lyrics are so raw and anyone can relate to it. You should be incredibly proud, and I wish that you can make the final, it would be wonderful!

Hannah Bradbeer

That guilty pleasure song choice was really lively and interesting and I thought it was back to the best of Hannah after slightly more mellow song choices for you recently. The second song wasn't just as good in my opinion Hannah, it was nice but I thought that it lacked an edge and sort of was just a nice song that would be nice to hear at a wedding or something like that, it had nothing special about it and there was no wow moments in the song. It was nice but relatively unspectacular and I think the emotion was all a little bit lost as the song didn't really go anywhere but regardless all the best in the votes Hannah!

Some good comments there for Hannah! But has she done enough to claim a space in the final?

Up next is the second of Unclekevo's acts, and hoping to impress it is James Michael!

James Michael

*standing ovation*
That was absolutely amazing from you James, what I loved about the first song was how you completely spun the whole song on its' head and provided a really refreshing male arrangement of the Kate Nash original, it was completely different to what we would have all expected from you but it suited you down to the ground. The second song was absolutely fantastic as well, it's the perfect acoustic song and has such a contrast of the catchy melody and the unique, indie tone of the vocals. I think that it says a lot how you have been able to show a completely different side of you in this competition and I so hope you make the final.

The Estrelles

*standing ovation*
Girls there's really nothing else I can say, that was absolutely incredible, the first song was superb, your harmonies were electric and I thought that vocally, it was one of the most sweet, pure vocal performances that you have ever delivered. Meanwhile, the second song was just such a brilliant performance, you really gelled as a group on the song and I personally believe that you were able to adapt your own unique style to a song that is usually styled by Delilah's quirky vocals, you ought to be so proud as both performances were fantastic.

The link for James's first song isn't correct. I'd like to listen to that one before voting.
