He has a gentle, caring, yet street and laddish voice/accent at the same time!

You wouldn't think he was nearly 30.

He's little and slight, so, I reckon he chose the stage name Dynamo from the saying "big things come from small packages".

He refuses to divulge his ethnicity.

I watched the first show and enjoyed it :)

I too enjoy him and couldn't care less whether some nasty people on here think he is good or not

It's an entertaining show that all the family can enjoy at 9PM safe in the knowledge that there won't be any swearing or nudity.

There was an article in the Daily Mail earlier this week explaining how he did it

I absolutely love this guy. The fact that he collected a bet for £10,000 and walked straight to a Teenage Cancer Trust and handed the whole lot over.

He comes across as a very caring considerate person.
He absolutely loves his grand-parents who brought him up.
Don't know the story regarding his parents

Yes! There certainly weren't any "4-king hell"s and "4-king awesome"s in this Thursdays episode. And I'm not describing a card trick here!

We all know that ....and now you've fallen into their trap.

Though I thought this thread used to be a few posts longer .... :)

Got any evidence for any of that?

It should be a few posts shorter.....there's already another thread about this, how many threads does a poor magician need?

In what way is he an amateur? If it's so easy why isn't everyone doing it?

Watch the masked magician TV show and youtube vids.

Nothing clever, its mostly actors/stooges & editing. The person being fooled is the viewer not the people hes doing the trick in front of.

Lots of them ARE doing it, before him, and better. He isn't doing anything that David Blaine wasn't doing 10 years ago

The tricks that aren't faked with camera trickery and stooges can be bought at any online magic store

Perhaps you should do it then if it's that easy.

The big question is how on earth he persuaded anyone that this charade was worth putting on TV - albeit a very minor cable channel with very few viewers. I'd be extremely surprised if it ever appeared on a major channel.

It manages to get 1.8 million viewers on Watch so expect it on a major channel soon.

Well, he's doing stuff that Criss Angel and Blaine were doing years ago on pretty main stream channels so there's no reason on of the main channels might have a punt at him with the stuff channels show these days.

The norm is to tout your wares to the major networks first and then work your way down! One would assume they weren't interested for some reason.

One should at least applaude Dynamo for sorting out his PR and game plan for getting where he is even if he is using short-cuts in his shows like...stooges/camera tricks/editing...to make him look more amazing than other magicians....and the rest is fairly normal magic.

Lots of magicians are getting annoyed at the moment of being asked whether they can do this or that Dynamo trick...to which some are replying...yes, if you give me a production crew, multiple cameras, a few actors and an editing suite.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. All I can say is that I'm surprised.
