Safe to send off my iPhone to envirophone
Hi,
Sorry, another post from me. i've just upgraded my phone and want to send it off to envirophone, however, i'm not sure if it's safe to do so. I've deleted all content and restored to factory settings so is this enough? I've restarted it and it seems everything has been wiped. Do I need to remove anything from inside the phone or anything? Thanks. |

Find a better company. Envirophone has the worst reputation just Google search them.

If you don't want to send it off try Carphone Warehouse. Sold my iphone to them, really pleased with the service.

Other than a *full* "Erase All Content and Settings" and removing the SIM, you don't need to do anything else.
I've never used Envirophone, but I have used Mazuma Mobile three times and found them to be excellent. I've also used Fonebank and they were quite good. Have a look here: http://mobilevaluer.com/ |

Sell it on ebay, you will get loads more than Envirophone will pay.

I would have got more on eBay but then eBay take their fee, PayPlay take theirs and there is always a chance you'll get a lowish winning bid as well. |

Personably I would just use a store like CPW, O2 or CEX.

sold mine a couple of weeks ago and got 235 via envirophone, you have to watch ebay and prices on envo, as they go up and down. I even put a wrong paypal email address in idoit as I was. only released after I hadnt got the money after receiving the email.
Rang them up and and they re-issued the money. Used them loads of times over the years, though if you are sending a phone over 100 notes and they are not offering free special delivery, I would be a bit reluclant to send it snail mail. The only problem I have is I have few empty boxes are leads laying around from the phones. |

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=1699953 I generally use Fonebank though and have never had a problem with them - gone like clockwork every time. |
