Hi

Until recently my combination of Sony Bravia TV and Sony Blu-ray player (with Ethernet) have worked perfectly to access and view iPlayer content.

Now iPlayer won't work at all. The home page loads, I can navigate a little, but no programmes will play and the search function will not work either.

Demand 5 and other internet content are all still working fine.

I've updated all the web access options on the Blu-ray deck, unplugged everything (etherenet, HDMI, power lead) but still no joy.

Anyone out there with a clue to what's wrong?

Just found this on AVFORUMS.COM posted by Jones The Steam (thank you!!) and it solved my problem!! Hopefully it works for some one else too. Good luck.

OK I just got it working.
You need to go to
Internet Browser > Options and set Javascript to Valid

The iPlayer app runs on the web browser that is on the S480 and once I saw that I guessed it must be due to my Javascript being disabled. I just tested a radio broadcast and an HD episode of Merlin and they both worked.
