Ok, so right, Brendan's storyline must disappear again into next week, and pick up again near the 27th? But that continuity makes no sense, since the Sampson and Cheryl stuff would have progressed in what's almost a fortnight in real time.

I don't think it's going to disappear for all that time. Brendan and Cheryl are central to the Lynsey mystery, and I can't see them dropping them from it altogether.

Yeah, but the episode we're getting on Monday, is the Tues 17th Channel 4 episode, then their next explicit mention in the spoilers is the 25th (or the 24th for Cheryl) but not that much time has passed in the show's reality because Silas's escape only seems to take place over a day or two, but has three episodes devoted to it.
