My TV thinks it's connected by DVI
I've got a Bush c32109dvb-3d and if I plugin the HDMI cable to the V+ box and TV it says it's connected in 1080i@50hz but then it flips to the connection as DVI.
I've tried different cables and turned off HDMI audio override in the V+ box but still no joy. The weird thing is the my WD Live TV box works fine with the same HDMI cable and get both audio and a picture. The V+ has also since been changed for a brand new one and still getting the problem. |

Does your tv have 2 or more HDMI inputs? If it does try connecting your V+ box to them instead and see if the problem continues, or could you use the Scart connection and watching the V+ in SD instead.

If you do then DVI video wise is identical to HDMI. Does the TV have a DVI input ?

Sorry. Just to clarify when the V+ box is connected via HDMI the TV reports it as DVI and there is no sound. I have since tried some headphones and speakers but no audio comes out, however on scart connections audio comes of the TV and if I plug in headphones.

Yeah everything. I just found it weird how my WD Live TV box works perfect over HDMI but V+ doesn't, Will see if I can get a replacement.
