The points for the First Test

Big Points for the South Africans. Even AB , one of the more popular selections managed 80 without batting which was only bettered by 4 of the England players
To show the difference in performance, South Afica scored 1843 against Englands' 733.

Andrew Strauss 27
Alistair Cook 180
Jonathon Trott 106
Kevin Pietersen 58
Ian Bell 93
Ravi Bopara 22
Tim Bresnan 53
Matt Prior 125
Graeme Swann 22
Stuart Broad 16
James Anderson 31

Graeme Smith 212
Alviro Petersen 10
Hashim Amla 572
Jacques Kallis 384
AB De Villiers 80
Jacques Rudolph 0
JP Duminy 0
Vernon Philander 60
Morne Morkel 150
Dale Steyn 250
Imran Tahir 125

The bonus result was 68 Maidens (21 +26 + 21) with 75 points for me
50 points for being within 5 for the following 7

63 Bazzaroo
66 tso
66 TheFridge
66 Fab Cesc
68 Dtcdtcdtc
70 Terrence Chant
72 seanisnotmyname
72 Charlieparr

Please let me know if you spot any mistakes as ther's a lot of numbers there !!

Yep 572 for Amla. Good job I added him to my team at the last second (for Kallis though).

What happens with the bonus questions? Does only 1 person score points for the total maidens or does everyone with 10 get 50 points?

Dtc, does the bonus , take into account the final session where 40+ overs can be played, because normally session are 30 overs.

Hi Bhav

Bonus is irrespectative of length of session
Rain and last wicket stands can alter length of session
Part of the fun of predicting
