8 rather short matches and not the most desirable card either

Do Sky get a choice as to which 4 of the 12 PPV's will be shown on Sky Sports, or is the decision made by WWE?

I think sky make the decision. SS PPVs generally tend of be ones where the event doesnt have a history.

AW Promotions are no more.... WWE have released Brian Josse who was better known as Abraham Washington because of his comment on Raw a few weeks ago when Raw had to apologise live on air.

Full Story here.

Anybody seriously turn around and tell me if Cena had made that exact joke (and I know he made a Bryant one in 2003) he's have been released?

Exactly. Only if the WWE were to absolutely 100% guarantee release every other on-screen employee who made that joke can you say its partially justified.

Tasteless? Yes. Fireable offence? Only if you're not making the WWE stacks of cash.

What do the defenders of the firing make of Mike Tyson being in the HOF? Is a convicted rapist okay or will they rightly say that he shouldn't be anywhere near it if you want consistency?

Didnt Jimmy Snuka do a similar thing in 1984?

It was their sponsor that complained about what was said.

Guys like Cena, Triple H, Undertaker are always exempt from stuff like this. Look at the welness policy would guys a few years ago like Cena, Trips, Batista got tested probably not.

Even if Orton had said this he wouldnt of got fired he would just come back and go on a major push back on top and be rewarded for his bad behaviour because hes a main event guy.

Doesn't have history? What on earth are you on about?? Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series and the Rumble are all on ppv and have plenty of history!

I took the SS to mean sky sports meaning that the PPV's on sky sports don't have a history where the sky box office ones do.

Yes thats exactly what I meant. PPVs like Summerslam, Wrestlemania will be on box office because they are long standing PPVs. PPVs that dont have a history like say for instance a new named PPV will more likely be on Sky Sports because its not part of the deal.

If Cena had said the comment ('joke') and the sponsor complained, demanding he be fired, would the WWE back down and let him go or would they back him and take losing the sponsor to protect their merchandise seller?

It appears that WWE are no longer censoring WWF references or blurring out the scratch logo.

http://www.wwe.com/videos/playlists/...ng-revelations No blurring at all.

They didn't censor the word WWF on Vintage Collection yesterday. The only reason I can think is that there was a stipulation in the legal agreement in 2002 that WWE had to edit out WWF references and blur the scratch logo for 10 year period, after which they could use it again.

WWE would probably just take losing the sponsor if it was Cena or they would probably just remove him from tv for a couple months but he would still be on the WWE payroll.

Really?

I've not read that anywhere. Where has it be stated the a sponsor of WWE made a complaint regarding the comment by the character A.W?

Please post a link to the "article" that you have read that confirms this.

Anyway, AW was annoying and was an idiot. You don't make rape jokes in an era where you have Linda running for a political position in just a few months.

You're best getting the tickets from ticketmaster first because I think they've already gone on sale and will sell out sooner rather than later. As you're getting them from the UK they will hold them at the arena. You'll need to use the credit card and your passport or drivers license to pick the tickets up.

Getting the flights is easy enough. Will probably cost in the region of £600 per person thesedays to Phoenix. Best looking at British Airways, which will offer flights and hotel and/or car. Depends on how long you are planning on staying and the quality of hotel. You could book the hotel seperately (best to have a credit card if you don't) and save quite a bit of cash, by staying in a budget hotel (e.g. travelodge).

Remember you've now got to pay (about $14), registering prior to 72 hours before entering the country. That's done on the ESTA website.

Not to nit pick but it wasn't confirmed when you posted, it was only speculation.
