It is expected that Kris Commons will be called up to the Scotland squad within the next 24 hours.
I thought there was at least 7 players ahead of him.

Didnt Levein say there was 7 players better then commons. The guy really does come out with some rubbish!

That'll be the guy that has admitted that his own stubbornness was part of the reason that he didn't make more effort to get Steven Fletcher back in the squad earlier.

Naa, he just left it until two vital home games passed by without a victory, and then after the stable door had partly closed suddenly rushes to contact Fletcher to get the guy onboard to help try and open the door again ( oh and maybe save Levein his job ).

Let's see what difference Fletcher makes ...

My feeling is he won't make a blind bit of difference simply because we haven't been creating chances in games because we have been the poorer team in most recent games - Fletcher ain't gonna change that.

Game getting nearer how confident are we all.

Still feel we are heading for another draw unfortunately its too evenly matched British teams with very little football played. This will suit us better

The result is pretty irrelevant, the bird's already flown and scotland aint going to Brazil 2014.

Will get back to you on that after more than 2 matches have been played.

Of course these were very disappointing and I have huge doubts about whether we can get in the top 2 places in the group, but why folk feel the need to call things for certain far too early.....

As always optimistic despite our manager, IF he plays two up front one being Fletcher and the other Miller then we should win comfortably, play one up front on their own we will scrape a victory.

Belgium game ask me after Friday

This game is a really difficult one for the neutral so I'm hoping it'll just be a good game. Can't really see Wales producing anything noteworthy but Scotland do tend to disappoint time and time again.

I'm going to go for a 2-2 draw

Do feel that it will be another draw as well. There is this assumption that we are so much better than Wales when we are not its two evenlly matched teams.

Both sides have some shocking players who are regulara

Is the game at the Cardiff City Stadium a sell-out? I did hear the Welsh FA didn't want it at the Millenium Stadium in case the TA outnumbered the Welsh.

Should be a good game, although my mind will be on the big sell-out at Wembley. England v San Marino.

Stick a tenner on San Marino scoring first goal in first minute!

It's par for the course. We weren't very good in the last campaign and I didn't think for a minute we were actually going to qualify, but we did take it to the last game so writing us off after Prague was a nonsense.

Charles Green spouting off again , Rangers will be involved in a European League, Aston Villa are useless, Arsenal dont want to play Southampton or Swansea.................!
WHERE does he get all this nonsense from. RANGERS are the club in the Scottish 3rd Division. Yes they are a Big Club but they are starting from scratch anf Mr Green is continually spouting tosh.!

Unfirtunately as the Scotland group is fairly competitive I feel this group will be won with a low amount of points. Therefore second place may not get a play off in this group

I agree. As a group that could conceivably be won, it was the best we could get, but it has always looked very evenly matched with weaker top pot teams being combined with stronger lower pot teams. In such a group with teams likely to take points off each other all over the place, there must be a very big risk that second won't make the play-offs.

So just have to win it then

Yeah I agree. Second place will not qualify in this group. Everyone will take points off each other at some point.

It's a stupid system in my opinion which is not fair on one group
