Levein claiming that Bale was not causing problems, utterly lost it Levein. Every single time Bale got the ball at ran at us he caused problems and panic.

Levein makes Steve Kean seem to have the Wisdom of Solomon

You are right, but how many times in recent campaigns have we got half way through them, realised we were not going to qualify and said something along the lines of lets right this campaign off now, and use it to build for the next.

Yes, possibly, if Smith is thought too controversial to bring back ( assuming either is interested )
Quite apart from results is the fact that Levein just has no credit in store for treating fans and media alike as idiots and that he is the man who knows.

Sort of says it all about the modern game where a faint graze from someone who's actually trying to get out the way makes it ok to throw yourself to the ground claiming a penalty.
Albeit it was slightly better than his dive last weekend where he wasn't even within a foot of the opposition player when he threw himself to the ground.

So does that mean it is automatically a penalty then?? Players can come together in the box and it isn't an offence as far as I am aware.
Certainly going by the coverage I saw and the gif posted previously it would take a big, big stretch to come to the conclusion that Bale hasn't conned the referee and dived ...

So I suppose if someone feels contact from behind from an opposition player, potentially losing they're stride, they're not to go down claiming they were caught then?
It wasn't a coming together, the Scottish player clumsily caught Bale, not the ball. Wales were unlucky with an earlier penalty shout also.
If a player feels contact and doesn't go down he's a bit daft. He won't get a penalty for staying on his feet however much he is touched and / or put off balance, although in some cases ( not saying this one ) they should.
I have a horrible feeling the SFA are gonna get someone like Mcliesh or Walter Smith in. Its time to sack levein and get someone in with a remit to play attacking open football and results wont matter as qualification is now gone. Dont care where they are from its just time for a big change.
