Souness would be a interesting choice but wouldn't touch the job with a bardge pole.

Just managed to read Mr Green's comments this morning on the BBC website.

Unwarranted arrogance sums him up really. He really is under the deluded impression that the Premier League and all of Europe's major clubs are incomplete because they don't get to play Rangers.

Do Rangers not have a press office to keep him quiet?

Slagging off Aston Villa and saying Arsenal can't fill their ground isn't a good way of making friends to play in England. Ain't gonna happen anyway.

Very poor state of affairs for Scotland. What a goal from Bale Would there even be a point in sacking Levein? He might as well stay now and try to build for the future.

Levein gets a bad press in many ways but then people telling lies to smear someone isn't that unusual.....

Someone else can come in and build for the future. Leave in has eon just 3 competitive games from 11 and thy were v Lithuania and Liechtenstein. That's a sad sad record and this is the same guy who said he now has a squad which can win every game in this current qualifying campaign. He should of been sacked after he went to Prague and played with no strikers.

I don't mind Scotland not qualifying for every tournament, I would like them too do so, but it ain't going to happen. So I am not going to condemn Levein for not qualifying.

What I would hope to see though is a manager making an improvement, and I just don't see that from Levein. He doesn't have the greatest Scotland squad ever, but he has some good players and some very good players, but I just don't see anything from this Levein Scotland team, and in my view he isn't going to improve it.

James Forrest joins Brown on the injured list and is out of Tuesday night's game.

If Scotland lose against Belgium then Harry Potter should do the right thing as despite having (seemingly) decent players to work with we are still going backwards ... I wouldn't bet on Levein doing that or indeed the SFA having the balls to do so but 2 or 3 meaningless upcoming home games in front of a few thousand fans might just force their hand.

I actually feel a bit sorry for Levein. He gave the fans what they wanted and it still wasn't enough to get a victory.

He has made a bit of a rod for himself by sticking Commons and Steven Fletcher straight into the starting line up when previously they hadn't been in the squad.

was at the game on friday night, terrible result and enough is enough, it is embarassing losing to Wales.

Potter isnt completely to blame for the result, if the linesman doesnt get it wrong and lets our second goal stand then the game was over and if the ref is conned by that cheating diving **** Bale, he made felix baumgartner's dive look amateur, then we dont lose the game.

However some of his decision making during the game was bizarre as per usual, if Scott Brown wasnt fit dont play him and then dont bring Charlie Adam on and expect him to do the same job they are not the same type of player. Playing Fletcher up front by himself, whats he meant to do when he wins the ball in the air? head it on to himself? two up front is needed. Come Wednesday morning after we are beat 6-0 by Belgium he better be gone.

I believe that he'll still be manager no matter what. A bit like Trappatoni with Ireland - they are all screaming for his head over there but he won't walk or be sacked it seems.

I think we have to be realistic and realise that the home nations really don't have good enough squads let alone teams. Having said that, I did expect Scotland to win on Friday but as I said before, they always seem to disappoint.

It's a year already since that HT team talk at Rugby Park when Celtic trailed 3-0, who knew what was to come.

What happened again ? Did they manage to keep the score vaguely respectable ? Is Lennon still in a job ? Did they ever catch fly away Rangers in the league ? Take it that it's the same two Old Firm teams going to rule the SPL again this year. It's all so predictable...

I'll start taking an interest again once Celtic ever win a Champions League group match away from home, if they ever get as far, hah.....

Have the SFA enough cash to pay off Harry on Wednesday morning?

SFA chuck Celtic Ladies team out of the Scottish Women's Cup after the club failed to play their QF.

Granted 11 of the squad were on Scotland duty at the time but we've been chucked out nonetheless.
