In practically any other season with their points to date they wouldn't just have been behind Rangers, but behind at least one Old Firm team ( and that's with them playing both Old Firm teams ) but Celtic are top really just because all the others are so much of a muchness ( even more so than usual ) and falling over each other.

Yes,,no doubt it won't hugely matter come the end and Celtic will win the league quite comfortably, but with the resources that they have they have been generally pretty poor in the league.

Best headline ever, but a bit different with Inverness not for the first time beating Celtic in a league game as a fairly established SPL team, compared to then winning at Celtic Park in the cup as a pretty average Division One team.

I see the idea is for 3 divisions with a playoff between the bottom football league side and the top non league sides for a place in the Scottish Football League. It seems a good idea so that non league sides who want to get into the SFL have the opportunity to do so on the pitch.
