Ally throwing a mega-wobbler

Sorry StoneCold

Don't worry, The Daily Record will always see him as a 'hero' of the bhoys in blue ... even when he walks away
You do realise that the Daily Record is one of the most hated publications by Rangers fans because they believe they have a strong Celtic agenda ... or have you skipped those threads during your research into Scottish football.

I think Jangle's reports of Whyte being a billionaire and Traynor's pleas for the team taking over from Rangers to be placed straight into the SPL show that rag for the pro-'Rangers' toilet paper that it is.

The Daily Record has a strong Celtic agenda?!

When No Surname said the bank was in control where was it placed on the back page compared to every other paper?

My memory aint too great but correct me if I'm wrong.

Every so often i feel sorry for the Rangers fans for what must be an absolutely hellish situation for them even allowing for some of the bluff and bluster on show.

Despite this you can guarantee that just around the corner there will be a statement, interview or press release that spins you right back to a "F*** em, they deserve everything they get" mentality.

I was reading the thread today and was thinking - Its time this was just ended so fans can go back to supporting their club whatever league they might be in - they deserve that at least.

Enter Ally McCoist

A man slowly morphing into George Galloway who is to diplomacy what Fred West was to gardening.

I genuinely liked the guy throughout his career and in his time as Rangers manager and i thought he behaved with dignity at the beginning of the fallout......but bloody hell... where did it all go wrong?

So you would want your club "Manchester United" to sit back and be kicked from pillar to post for the best part of 6 months (mostly from internet hardmen who don't know their arse from their elbow) .... jog on ...

If this was Sir Alex you would be ejaculating in your long johns.

I never said it had a strong Celtic agenda - I said Rangers fans think it has a strong Celtic agenda ... of course Celtic fans think the complete opposite.

You should know that the Record sets out to sell papers - that is it's business ... if that means kicking Rangers one day and Celtic the next it will, but both clubs have a hatred for this publication because of this stance - and the fact is usually is "made up shit" simply meant to fuel the flames.

The Record is no friends of Rangers FC ...

I was happy to answer the first point.

You pretty much ruined it with the second paragraph.

It sums up how most fans feel about Rangers. They are sympathetic up until the point you do the last sentence type thing then they couldn't care less if you have no club to support.

As for Lenny and the scheme he was involved in, if it wasn't legal it wasn't legal, he needs to pay up if that is the case.
That isn't the case though.

Lenny doesn't owe any tax.

Isn't it the case, though, that in trying to avoid tax, he's ended up losing money?

I stand corrected, he never saw any of the 'benefits' in the first place but if it leaves him out of pocket for legal fees then tough shit.

You don't understand it - they want to take away the right to appeal any decision that is reached (whether that is financial or titles being stripped) .... given they have already hit us with an illegal transfer ban I think we are well within our rights to contest any future punishments handed out - that has to be a given.

Especially when it seems they want to simply use us as a sweetener for any TV deals ... so what exactly is in it for us?? These things work both ways as I remember ...
Crofter, no matter any point you put across re- rangers its pointless, these people have more hatred for rangers than love for their own team(s), pretty sad really. Its bawbag central

You can't take one or two instances (that suit your agenda) to prove that a paper is pro somebody and anti- somebody else ... you should know that the Record is hated by Rangers fans as you seem to spend most of your time reading our forums.

I know but as soon as you mention "their" dubious past they clam up and the big Celtic "sweep, sweep" brush comes out once again ... some ruddy brush that.

Not strictly the case, the tax was already paid, the scheme was effectively if you invested £10 you would be able to claim back £20 in tax relief.

However this was badly managed and as a result investors could only claim back what they invested.

Alas you are correct, I am obsessed by the Zombie dead of Glasgow.

Hopefully watching Celtic play Real Madrid whilst Rangers don't play anyone will make up for it. I don't know if it will though.....

To be fair I think you will find that "the average" Celtic fan (if there is such a breed lol) spends the majority of their sad life worrying about Rangers - the posts on here would pretty much back that up.

Yup, invited for another glamour friendly in America that will bring a load of cash into into the club.

Is that the best comeback you've got?

Out with a whimper, just like your club.

Its a mighty big brush indeed.
Mind the stairs on the way out, Ian McLaren might not have inspected them properly.

A load of cash? It'll cost you plenty to get there, stay there and get back.

Only whimpers will be when your pumped out of Europe early doors, hopefully by the mighty HJK Helsinki

Stairs have just been white-washed. Tidy

Are you that thick you don't understand the last comment I made?

Shows how little you know about Rangers!
