When your club motto is either

Sweep, Sweep
Or Always Cheated Never Defeated

I really don't think you can question too much fella ... keep reading the Rangers forums to stay up to date with all our latest results and gossip though as we may not have the coverage you are used to in Div 3.

Whereas your motto is "The unseen Fenian hand caused this" or "We will blame a dead man for our stadium being a deathtrap even though we knew about it for a decade"?

Celtic have never been relegated, demoted or chucked out the top tier of Scottish football for being insolvent and not paying our bills.

When were Celtic in the 4th tier of Scottish football?

Aah, feel the hatred and paranoia. To use stadium tragedies is seriously poor form. Very poor

TB, don't get involved with these people ... I got a ban for the first time ever trying to understand their logic.

Not worth it ... the 'Follow Follow Brigade' - or himself judging by the new members - will not be far away

crofter thinks using paedophila is fair game as do you.

You've made comments about brushes and sweeping and you've made previous references to Alan Brazil and the Catholic church. I can post the comment if you'd like?

Don't even attempt to come over holier that thou.

You mention religion ... I didn't or haven't.

You mention accidental deaths of innocent fans ... I didn't.

If you are going for "point scoring" I think you maybe have over stepped the mark quite a bit.

I would expect a full apology from your good self as I know you are a decent fella at heart ... and you maybe just had a shandy or two too many.

Sorry my point is that it was covered up by your club - YOUR club and its employees covered what happened up and caused untold suffering on innocent individuals at the hands of one of your employees - it could have been avoided but your rulers chose not to in fear it would damage the club.

Billy "it was an open secret" McNeill or "Big Jock knew" isn't just a figment of our imagination ... though no doubt you will try and spin it differently.

These references are fact- the well known radio pundit suffered whilst at celtic boys club, he told his story bravely, as for the catholic church, well where do you want to begin? With the millions paid out to the unfortunate victims? These are facts. To spout nonsense about stairs not being swept properly leading to one of the worst stadium tragedies in britain is quite frankly pathetic.

None of which have anything whatsoever with what has been happening in Scottish football over the last few months and as such has no place in the thread

This thread is not about the last few months exclusively - it is simply entitled "Scottish Fitba Thread".

Actually I've never mentioned religion this evening.

Like many other Rangers fans you appear to be unable to distinguish between the Fenian movement and Catholicism.

Accidental when you have 3 previous of deaths and injuries in the stadium in the previous 9 years? That's like me knocking down and injuring people because of faulty brakes in my car and not bothering to get them fixed then doing it again and claiming it was an accident!

Have you had a knock to the head?

Is that what you honestly think I said???

The Rangers board tried to blame the Ibrox disaster of 1971 on a man that had died when the wife of Charles Dougan took Rangers to court and won £26261.

The sheriff said the evidence provided by Rangers employees "must be rejected as wholly unreliable and untrustworthy" and that "their actions can only be interpreted as a deliberate and successful attempt to deceive others that they were doing something, when in fact they were doing nothing".

You are right mate but if Celtic fans are forced to put up with Rangers fans giving the sweep sweep response I'm not going to sit back and take it.

Paedophilia and stadium disasters are hardly what should be discussed here though, what is there to be confused about?

Game on Sunday. Any ideas what team we will put out? Who do we have from last season?

"The term Fenian is still used today, especially in Northern Ireland and Scotland, where its original meaning has expanded to include all supporters of Irish nationalism. Irish nationalists, while honouring the 19th century Fenians, more often describe themselves as "nationalist" or "republican". It is used as a demeaning term towards Catholics."

You are a seriously warped individual that is for sure.

Lets just get back talking about football. How many players do Rangers currently have in their squad? I expect them to win comfortably on Sunday. It will be a culture shock for them though to play every week at really small grounds.

Only players I can think of are: McCulloch, Bedoya, Alexander, Clubfoot , Wallace and Hutton.

Also heard we signed Ian Black with Andy Little re-signing although not sure if it's all gone through.

I don't think Rangers will find it as comfortable as a lot think. There will be a lot of players at teams looking to make a name for themselves either through playing well or through stopping Rangers players from performing (kicking them up in the air)

Seems like you will have the second biggest wage bill in Scotland for Div.3.

Lessons of the past - have they been learned?

Two weeks till the start of the SPL season, hopefully all fans of our SPL teams are getting excited? Looking forward to an exciting compitition against Scotlands top teams in the top league in the country.

Should Celtic be drawn against any teams in the lower leagues in the Cups, I'll turn my thoughts to the lower leagued teams at that point. Until then it is the teams we will play in the top league that will get my attention.

No offence but I'll be keeping an eye out for Rangers results. They have an opportunity to create a 'rags to riches' scenario and many want them to do well while many others want them pushed further and further into the ground.

I must admit I'm, once again, appalled by the antics of McCoist. This man should learn some dignity or just shut up for everyone's sake. He has alienated many decent Rangers fans who have been shocked by his rants. In my opinion, he is a loose canon and has even put others lives in danger. That is completely unacceptable no matter what his opinion is.

If I was a Rangers supporter I would be very worried about Green. Has he any heart in Rangers? I don't see it. He doesn't care about individuals let alone a club. For the genuine Gers I fear that there is a lot more misery ahead. More in-fighting, more haggling and more sniping.

Most important of all, the more and more people like McCoist continue to publicly rant and rave about agendas the more people will despise their club. My message to McCoist would be to leave now for the good of the new Rangers.

Similarly l'll stick to watching my team in the league we are in and take an interest in how we fair against teams we do not normally come up against. Makes this season quite interesting for a change instead of the normal boring fixtures. At least we won't have to play Celtic 6 or so times this season. If we do get them in the early rounds of one of the cups it would take some performance.

One thing is for certain, I would LOVE to win the diddy cup this year

I didn't say that it wasn't used as a derogatory term towards those of a Catholic persuasion. What I said was that I hadn't mentioned religion and that by you automatically associating Fenianism with Catholicism through your claim I brought religion into it shows a complete lack of understanding on your part.

Keep em coming. When you mention paedophilia it is because you refuse to let it be swept under the carpet. When I mention the terrible safety record at Ibrox and the numerous incidents that resulted in the death and injury of Rangers fans I'm "seriously warped". You probably won't understand just how ironic that is.

Okay, we'll make it a bit easier for you to answer. You claimed he was a Celtic employee, what was his position of employment at Celtic Football Club?

Looks like Lustig will partner Mulgrew in defence today for the glamour game against Inter Milan.
