Great attendance for the first home game in the history of the newclub, that is undeniable.
Yeah, whatever.
The Rangers fans obviously had the forward planning to buy their childrens school uniforms, pre-season.

And yet Charlie Green chooses to bring us into the equation - apparently 38,000 is more than 48,000

i dont think there is any question of any rangers match outselling any SPL match, given the capacities the SPL teams have and the followings the teams have, it should never happen.

If it does, the SPL is in far worse trouble than i thought.

His attempts at digs at us and the SFA/SPL are the only way that he can get fans onside.

Remember it isn't that long ago he admitted that liquidation meant the history of Rangers (IL) would not be continued, that he had no idea who Davie Cooper was and that John Brown was the hero of the Rangers supported when he was addressing them on the steps of Ibrox and they wanted Green out.

Fast forward a couple weeks and he claims sectarianism is the reason The Rangers weren't parachuted into the SPL, he claps the anti-Stewart Regan song at Brechin and has a pop at Celtic and suddenly he is a hero.

Are fans of The Rangers really that silly that they will swallow it after what happened with Whyte?

in yet another example of the armaggedon currently taking place in the SPL, YouTube have agreed a 7 figure three year deal to show SPL highlights across the world.

HJK 0-1 Celtic (1-3)

Joe Ledley fires Celtic ahead with a header (kind of)

Wanyama sent off for second yellow - down to 10 men with 20 minutes left.

Well played Celtic, they should be beating Helsinki but a 2-1 lead to take away with their record was never going to be easy so fair play to them.

Wouldn't be surpised if the commentator raising his voice caused the line to drop. The Finns love peace and quiet and probably built this into the line.

Europa League Group stage is our safety net now.

We could face Maribor in the play off - who remembers them?

Difficult surface with the plastic pitch but apart from a tricky 10 minute spell in the 2nd half we looked very comfortable throughout - the 4-3-3 formation employed by Lennon worked well until Vic's red - 4-4-1 then after.

Is it borderline whether you will be seeded or not in play off round

Nope, we're 3rd out of the possible champions in the playoff round. - behind Anderlecht and Basel.

Yeah, very good team. They put us out the Europa League 2 years ago. 5-2 on aggregate but we were 3-0 down from first leg and played well at ER but lost 3-2 on the night. Edwin de Graff got both our goals.....blimey !!

I know you weren't meaning Hibs with your "Who remembers them " but thought i'd comment

Motherwell holding Pana 0-0 at HT. Watched some of the 1st half, a very dire game. Panathinaikos look half arsed and Motherwell are sitting back.

Motherwell had spells of possession and when someone got forward there was nobody to cross it too in the box. 0-0 is a great result away for Well but in the context of the tie they are better going for it now and losing 1 or 2 rather than not having a go to secure a pretty pointless draw.

That's where I remember them from - wasn't Colin Nish employed as a lone striker?
