I agree united should really be nearer 10000 for most home games

The first 40 mins should be highlighted on Crimewatch next week because that is most blatant raping i have ever seen in public.

Got a feeling either Rhodes or Russell will be at Celtic before the window slams shut.

Because I am not a season ticket holder they were all sold when I wanted to buy a ticket

I would sign Russell ahead of Rhodes 100 times out of 100 on price alone. Rhodes is great, don't get me wrong, but Russell is something else IMO.

Id sell Russell for £4m and not a penny less.

This should be a good chance for united to get a good start to the season.should be two wins out of two and with games against kilmarnock st johnstone and ross county to come.

I am looking for five wins out of five to start the season anything less will be dissapointing

Get the chequebook out.

Id want to see Scottish records broken to justify the sale.

Cannot see Celtic offering more then £2 million for Russell. What value would be accepable for Utd?

We would sell for £2m TBH.

He is gold though. So was Goodwillie and see how that has gone.

Lets not forget that Russell was the token replacement for Goodwillie....

Why don't you just take Goodwillie back from Blackburn on a free for a year, that would be the smart move.

Certainly no less than 2 but don't you have to move people out before you can buy

I think we'll see our business done after the CLQ is out of the way, if we end up with CLGS football then I think we'll go for Rhodes, if it's EL football then I think we'll sell Ki and go for Russell.

I think we'll go to £2.5m and no more for Russell. Possibly allow Watt to join on loan.

That is a shit transfer policy.

Yes, but getting into CL would mean we wouldnt have to sell. If we don't, Ki will be sold and we would be able to sign a couple of players. Catch 22 situation.

I actually think players may join celtic again rather than get lost in the championship in england. Levein is a big fan of the championship select scotland team but not certain the next manager will be

I quite like Celtic, its been well documented on here....

However if i was Russell there is no way in hell i would sign for them in the current climate.

This is a free season without Rangers, he can rampage through the SPL and score a helluva lot of goals.

Does anyone think russell should be in the Scotland squad before goodwillie who no longer gets a game for Blackburn and clearly doesn't feature in their plans.

A lot of the Scotland squad don't play club football thought

Russell would also have to take into account that he wouldn't be a first pick choice, Hooper is. I would play Russell over Stokes, but they way Lennon has set the team up this season, we play one up front, with Forrest and Commons in the wide roles.

We'll only spend what we can afford, we've already spent £2m this season as it is on Forster.
