Kris Commons - playing in the Champions League for Celtic this season and playing well yet according to Levein he isn't good enough to be picked ahead of the likes of Snodgrass and Phillips - two players not exactly in form.

Good win for Celtic, should get them into the Europa League spot

Real possibility that Benfica and Spartak could cancel themselves out in their double header - leaving Celtic with a good chance regardless of the Barca games.

Too early to start singing Que Sara Sara though.

We will lose to Barca away, might get a point against them at home. We could get a point away to Benfica. We should beat Sparta at home. We could finish on 9 points.

Has Lennon lost a 15 point lead in the league?

Malmo got 1 point out of 18 and Maribor got 1 point out of 18 yet Rangers under McCoist weren't good enough to beat either of them.

You've got your blinkers on about McCoist because he gives you sound bites that you all love but his record speaks for itself.

3 times? What don't you tell us all what teams put us out.

Before you went into administration on 14th February? Jelavic is the only one that instantly springs to mind.

I have no idea what that means.

Honking goalkeeping by Hedman cost us dearly in both those games IIRC.

Absolutely superb performance tonight, never saw it coming despite us being unbeaten in the last 6 European games with 4 wins in that time. I thought it would simply be a case of yet another away CL defeat.

The team were superb and proved me completley wrong. Superb finishes from Hoops and Sami and we had a bit of deserved, IMO, luck for the 2nd goal.

In the words of Martin O'Neill Celtic were extraordinary tonight.

Still, I think Barcelona will hammer us.

Safe to say Puyol will not be playing against Celtic - horrible injury.

We can go to barca now knowing that a defeat isn't really gonna hurt us. I hope we don't try and just play 10 at the back.

Kris Commons on his Scotland omission:

"Everyone seems to think I should be in the squad but the only man that doesn't want me in the squad is the manager, I'm still disappointed not to be involved with the squad.

"They've got to crack on and try and get a result in Wales and Belgium. So, good luck to them and hopefully I can do enough to try and get into the next squad.

"I've been called up for squads last season a couple of times and it's just one of those things.

"I've had no text message, no phone call, nothing from the SFA. It's kind of baffling for me."

"If Craig Levein genuinely thinks there's seven better players than me then that's his view,"

"It would be nice just to tell me if I'm not in his plans. It'd be nice to try and find out if he's got a problem with my game or attitude."

That'll be the end of his Scotland career under Avril now.

Great win for Celtic today. Tricky place to win.

Armageddon could be happening, Celtic winning away in the CL has to be a sign that the end is night

Tip my hat to Celtic tonight, they played some really nice football and fully deserved their win.

I think they will take a point from Barca and beat Spartak at home, looks like that may be enough for qualification!

Was a tremendous win for Celtic.

Just wish Lennon had left the win to do the talking without bleeting on about Celtic not geting the respect they deserve.

The guy has no class.

No matter what some people will take every opportunity available to have a go at Lennon.

What next, having a go at him because you didn't like the purple coloured bib he wore over his track suit top?

Fraser Forster has been called up to the England squad, no place for Hooper though.

Please allow me to have an opinion. You may not like it or agree with it ( in which case just say so if you want ), but it is my own individual opinion

And it is not part of any wider thing against Lennon ( just more related to how I feel he often comes across as a Celtic manager ) or following "some"people". Not everyone has an agenda !

I just found his comments rather uneccesary, distracting and frankly uncalled for. As I indicated, Celtic will get respect based on their performances, not on his pleadings.

It is a "little club" syndrome to make hey look at us comments like that. And i am not getting at Celtic here ( who I make no secret of that I prefer to Rangers ), just these comments.

In the unlikely evnt I ever have strong feelings on anyone's bib I'll let folk know !
Mark.

And then criticises the SPL over the dual contracts commission.

BBC Scotland will screen D'Utd v Hearts tie.

are you aware of stuff like the itv tweet and the comments of the Spartak manager regarding Celtic. Even ex Spartak players are criticizing the lack of respect shown to Celtic by pundits\journos and the manager.

No, I must admit i wasn't particularly aware of this, though now that you mention it I am sure I did hear something regarding some comments from the Spartak manager. Maybe that was largely or partly what Lennon was thinking about, though it just seemed pretty general.

Thank you for responding to my points with relevant information as distinct to just shoving me in some luv 'em or hate 'em camp ( like regarding Nadal and Federer in tennis when you get jumped on by one luvvie side or the other if you dare say anything crtitical about either one of them ).
