Wow that sounds awesome about Lucy. I've listened to that song on YouTube and its a real tear jerker if you listen to it all the way through.
What song did she sing originally? Quote:

Hey, first post on here, been using Digital Spy for years as well, which is strange! Thought I’d create an account to post what I thought of bootcamp, I went to both sessions! There were so many good acts, which actually surprised me, as I was expecting a lot of joke acts (not that there weren’t a few!). The calibre of the acts in the afternoon session was much greater than the ones of the morning act. Oh, and Gary kept on reiterating that it was a top 24 for judges houses, which should hint that it will be back to top 12 this year!
As already mentioned, a girl called Lucy Spraggan got to sing two songs in the morning session, her first was a medley of songs she liked on the list that they are given to pick from, which was a great composition! Her second song was called Tea and Toast, which, although it’s not really something I’d usually listen to, proved she was a great songwriter and musician. She was the only singer who got to sing two songs in the whole of bootcamp, I’d take that as a hint that she’ll be on the lives! There were a lot of singers from last year and other competitions at bootcamp this year, including Joe Cox, Melanie McCabe, Sian Phillips, Jade Richards and Carolynne Poole from last year. They all were great however, none of them received standing ovations though, felt so sorry for Melanie, most of the crowd had left by the time it got to her! Also, Hayley Evetts from Pop Idol auditioned, claiming she was going to quit until Nicole had a word with her yesterday, she was outstanding, I’d hope to see her in the over’s category this year! Furthermore, Nathan from Big Brother Celebrity Hijack auditioned, starting off by singing A Change Is Gonna Come, before taking his shirt and tie off and proceeding to sing Earthquake. Just a note though – his first attempt at performing this resulted in technical difficulties, so he was told to perform again later, when he came back, he again did the shirt and tie, A Change Is Gonna Come bit, which felt pretty cheesy watching it again! There were a lot of talented groups this year, many of which involved rappers. However, these groups were not shown until the second session. In the first session, From Above, the group managed by Beyoncé’s dad, performed and in my opinion, they were pretty poor! They attempted Payphone by Maroon 5, and Daisy from S Club Juniors was given the task of tackling the high notes, something she did not do well at all! The performance was stopped after a few seconds, with the judges asking if she was OK and if she wanted water, but she went on. After they’d finished, one of them started crying, not looking optimistic, and the way the judges spoke to them made it seem like they won’t be there at judges houses! One group to look out for are a trio, one of the singers in the trio is also a beatboxer, their performance was literally incredible, gaining a standing ovation! Another is a Irish boyband (there were two consisting of 5 members) but the one I’m talking about have perfect harmonies, I’d listen to them! As I mentioned, there were not many joke acts, however, the first singer from the second session was absolutely atrocious! He murdered Sweet Child O’ Mine, acting like a rock star, running up and down the arena aisles! I actually thought he might have been on the drugs! The way I can describe him is like Russell Brand’s character from Get Him To The Greek if you have ever seen that movie, he came across as pretty rude, obnoxious and full of himself! Also, a girl group claiming they were twins, when they were friends, slaughtered Earthquake, then to add insult to injury, walked the wrong way off stage, then when they realised, walked the right way and fell down a few of the steps on their way down! Only one forgot their lyrics as well, the girl actually had a good voice; just think bootcamp had got to her! Nicole and Louis went off to talk to her after it had finished so maybe she might end up in a girlband? There were plenty of talented girls this year, with some that I thought might end up in a girl group come judges houses. Apart from Lucy, look out for Ella, the 16 year old that made Nicole cry, another 16 year old who was brilliant (I’ve forgot her name) and a 22 year old diva! Once again, forgot her name, but she was incredible, she sang I have nothing! I’ve most probably forgot some of the stand outs, but that’s all I can remember! Not that many stand out boys, but they were good! Apart from becoming incredibly sick of the songs A Change Is Gonna Come and Earthquake, both performed at least 10 times all day, and also having to sit in the arena for 12 hours (I really don’t get why I did it to be honest!), it was a good day, full of great acts, some of which I would definitely go out to purchase their music if they were to win the competition! Sorry for this long post, just thought I’d try and include as much as I could from the whole of bootcamp! |

They were very different, as you will know from meeting them! I'd say they might get through to judges houses, as for the lives, I'm not too sure! One of the girls in the group had a really powerful voice, and could hit the high notes perfectly, but when they came together as a group, it didn't really harmonise well! That's just my opinion though, they may have been perfect in the auditions and the first parts of bootcamp!

Did you see a group called rebirth? Or a duo of two (rather camp guys) called Ary? (Gary & Barry I think their names were)
Did you like the older Melanie (not McCabe)? And was there a Scottish guy called Collin there? |

Actually she might have, thinking back on it, didn't she start crying? She was really good, she's another I think will make the lives this year!

Were there many groups in the evening show formed at boot camp do you know? Don't know how you did the evening one as well, it was a great day but by 5pm I was ready for home, couldn't have sat there for any longer. |

And if she was the one with the long blonde hair, she was fantastic! I don't think I can remember a guy called Colin, but there were a few Scottish acts so he may have been there! |

I really don't know how I did either! haha, I'd won the tickets from a competition on Twitter for the second session, so as they were priority, I thought I'd go because I'd be closer to the stage! Never got out till half 11! |

Aah, I wonder when we'll find out the categories! Thekman has been absent for a while, but I hope he comes back soon to tell us.

No, unfortunately, as I say on the post, it's just of the first session, I've got about 17 contestants reviews. But all of them sound like proper contenders.
And you'll have to wait and see Added a new girl! |

but it was a good song and she is really talented. She got a standing ovation, she started crying, everybody started changing LUCY LUCY and I think Tulisa had a little cry. But what annoyed me, they never captured the 'LUCY LUCY' bit on camera so asked everyone to do it again once she had gone which was awkward and I didn't like but suppose that's the way the show is.
