This Christmas it has been confirmed that both TV Times and What's On TV have Dennis and Zoe on the cover for their bumper Christmas issues.

I can see EastEnders winning the Christmas ratings now, undeservedly

What's On TV hardly ever has anything else.

It's SO annoying. Fecking Shannis seems to rule the world. Suranne Jones deserves that cover with Ashley and Claire. Its ridiculous, Corrie gets no recognition at Christmas!

Oh god, Dennis and Zoe on the front
Im getting fed up with Whats on TV having EE on the front all the time even though better things are happening in Corrie & Emmerdale. Looks like i'll have to change which magazine i buy this Xmas.

Yea
I don't know which other one to buy though as i've always bought Whats on TV. I did buy TV Plus as well last week though as it had a great cover and an interview with Sasha Behar (Maya) inside

TV Plus? Come again?

You should experiment with a different one each week, I'm sure you can find better than WOT.

What is wrong with EE being on the cover maybe it will be fantastic this year? and why woud it be undeserved it EE did win the ratings battle?

Once again EastEnders is what they're all talking about this Christmas lol The same thing happened last year, Kat and Alfie were on every tv and entertainment magazine cover last Christmas. Although in hindsight Enders Xmas Day epi was a lot better than Corries.

This year I would have thought there'd be more Corrie covers for Xmas, as it sounds like Corrie have a fantastic storyline. Ah well, its all the one really. We're still gonna watch Corrie on Xmas Day regardless.

Based on EastEnders performance this year, its very easy to say its undeservedly a ratings winner, but you dont' know that yet, we haven't seen it. I think its gonna be good, even if it does feature Sharon,Zoe, Dennis.

That's the sad thing about all the mags being produced from London; we need less bias from them, but until things are more decentralised then it's not likely to happen.

Yay EastEnders rocks!

EastEnders being on the front of a few magazines is the last you should be worried about, there's no way ITV are going to beat BBC's ratings!

Here's the shows over the festive period...

Shrek,
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone,
Bend it like Beckham,
102 Dalmations,
Last-ever episode of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet,
Strictly Come Dancing,
Absolutely Fabulous,
My Family,
Big Impression,
EastEnders christmas Party,
EastEnders ,
Holby City & Casualty special,
New episodes of The Vicar Of Dibley......

What will ITV have? World IDOL or something, the only way they stand a chance is if they have Coronation Street & Emmerdale 4 hour specials!

Anyway ...ITV will probably do their own promotion "Steve's sad Saturday"

The listings are just amazing and really informative, the soap section is extensive and they have sections in the magazine like Entertainment, Drama, Film, Soap, with all the programmes for the week reviewed with pictures. It's good quality and not flimsy too. They don't usually have soap covers, but they are fair and its a decent one.

Yeh I have to say the Beeb sounds really good for Crimbo. Am really looking forward to Ab FAb and the Vicar of Dibley specials. Big Impression is good too, so long as they dont' devote a whole special to the Beckhams, they did that last year and it was kind of a snooze fest.

EastEnders will be stiff competition for Corrie aswell, Kathleen Huthchison has done a really good job with her rewritten storylines, they sound good anyways.

Shrek, Ab Fab, Big Impression and Dibley are great for BBC1.

The BBC always do Christmas well. ITV is always shite at Christmas. It's a tradition

I'm surprised bbc are spending that much money; audience figures on Christmas Day especially have been quite poor over the last few years. Perhaps they're trying to make an impression in time for their charter review

Apart from Corrie I don't remember watching anything on ITV last year, in fact I didn't even watch all of Corrie on Xmas Day last year as it was a bit dull.

The Beeb has a cracking line up this year.
