Myself and three of my friends are going to the BFI premiere of Series 7 in August, and I just wondered who else on here managed to get tickets?

Good job! How did you manage to get yours? I failed miserably.

Anecdotal advice suggests you want to become a member and put in a paper request ahead of time — it seems they run through the paper requests immediately before opening the web site.

My friend and I clubbed together to buy a years BFI membership and I logged in a second after they went on sale and bought four tickets. It was a bit of a panic though as every time I picked seats they sold so I quickly put "best available" and sniped four. Apparently they sold out in 55 seconds so I've no idea how I managed it. Rather shocked haha!

No, this is the Series 7 premiere- as I said in my first post. They're screening the first episode of Series 7 "Asylum of the Daleks"
