Ms Grodner and Production will be discussing whether it would be best for ratings to allow the rebellion to play out (maybe even encourage it) or to nip it in the bud.

I'm not surprised that this has happened at all. The format has made it so that there's no benefit to a newbie actually working with their coach. Why would you bother messing up what you want to do, to help someone win another $100 grand, when all four of the mentors have won significant prizes in the past?

The only real power the coaches have is the winning one being able to give immunity to one of their "team", so a rebellion if it comes off could be effective.

If the coaches were really "playing for themselves" they would be organising a mass clear out of physical competitors (Hantz, Frank and Shane) but really only Janelle is thinking that way......

Bold print, "you will not be competing for the grand prize" in the coaches contracts.
"you will not join the jury house" "you will not have a vote for the winner of BB14" |

JoJo's telling Kara that Dan's picks were likely so he could manipulate them easy - Joe's telling Janelle about the meeting |

Button boy is on something tonight, when it should go to WBRB the video source switches but audio stays and when it should play sound, they play the WBRB music. I'm not complaining... dish Janelle dish!

This coaches twist would work better if they didn't try to corral all their charges into ready made alliances and they each encouraged them to make their own way and advised them accordingly, so in that sense I suppose the coaches agenda has prevailed.
Until now. |

Hantz and Shane starting from scratch in the HoH
They don't want to work with Joe, they are iffy about Ian, they like Jojo Shane: "Me, you, Frank, Ashley and Jojo?" Hantz: "That's exactly what I was thinking!" They also want Danielle for her vote..... |

One of the best first weeks of live feed ever! So much madness. This twist has added a whole new level of paranoia.

Wonder if the coaches will have a meeting when Boogie wakes up?
Janelle seems the only one to have her team together and strategising. |
