Crusty bread?
I often buy a tiger loaf or 5 grain crusty bread but the next day the texture changes to chewy. Is it possible to 'recrust' the remaining loaf by popping it in the oven for a bit?

Whenever I go to sainsbury's or Waitrose on a Saturday morning I always end up buying their 3 for 2 rolls from the bakery and on Sunday I just sprinkle with a bit of water (I have no idea why I seem to remember being told to do that with French bread once) and pop in the oven for about 5 minutes and they come out lovely and crusty again.

The moisture evaporates over time. You can re-crust it in the oven. Some people like to simply heat the oven up high for a while, then put the bread into it and turn the heat off. Wait for five or ten minutes and it should be fine.
