The link you posted is to a rumour prior to the announcement of the Xperia S and has nothing to do with the specs of the Xperia Arc.

Without knowing for sure which handset you're talking about, it's difficult to say whether it's a good deal or not.

If you don't like all touch, my I suggest the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro. It is touch and keyboard, so best of both worlds. It was released last year but Sony are still supporting it with the new Android.

(Make sure it is the SK17i version, that's the latest one, there is an older version which is SE Xperia X10 Mini Pro)

They both go cheap on ebay/Amazon...

£100 for an Arc is fine.

Specs here:
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsso...a_arc-3619.php

It's last years model but has a decent camera and a decent screen. It is way more powerful than your C905. You will get used to a touch screen unless you are completley thick.

I may well be selling my Arc soon and £100 is what you will get from the phone trade in sites (or upto £150 in PC World vouchers) so you can pass it on without loss.

If it is the Xperia S rather than the Xperia Arc or even the Xperia Arc S (the Arc S only differs from the Arc in processor speed) then it is an absolute bargain, snatch their hand off.

Right 1st things first

The phone i have actually got is a Sony Ericcsson U1 and not a sony arc ,

Right now the phone tbh, tho , i do have a book its all on orange settings i had it unlocked to virgin masybe its just me but i cant get used to this phone , here are the 3 biggest problems i am having

1 It keeps locking, and takes ages to unloick
2 Battey runs out within a day
3 The camera pictures seem to be going all angles, with no way to rotate them
4 the sms system seems to type in very slow

5 but worst of all i cant seem to cancel the answerphone which it seems to be set on

Now this maybe because its 2nd hand i dont know but it does not seem right to me

on the plus side it has a 12mp camera,

The U1 is a rather elderly Symbian handset and not a member of the xperia series. It's not really worth £100 to be honest.
