Conor is very aggressive when arguing with Deana. He couldn't even look up when Deana said that he'd never even had a conversation with her in the house and yet he thought she was fake. I think he realises he's wrong but won't back down for fear of looking stupid. His pride is on autopilot now. He'd rather carry on with this charade than start speaking to her.

Neither of them are open to discussion about their behaviour. Conor shuts people out; says Shhh to Becky and just talks over Deana. Caroline pretends to listen but just carries on when her victim is out of earshot.

Obviously Conor appears to be the one most likely to be violent. Caroline does not lose her temper, so all her unpleasantness is carried out in cold blood and much more calculating. Conor is just permanently angry.

In the enclosed environment of the BB house I would prefer to have Conor for an enemy than Caroline.

I dislike them both but tend to agree with this. As horrid as Conor can be you would at least have some idea of what you were dealing with.

Simple. Conor is an angry individual who seems to enjoy making a woman's life a misery, whereas Caroline is just an immature and nasty little girl who didn't get enough discipline growing up and feels she can do no wrong.

Well Connor is obviously a total knuckle dragging moron, almost laughable. He should have been evicted or at least told off in front of the whole house. He blames Deana for his telling off not himself. Caroline however is educated so plays a far more calculated and sinister game to destroy people's soul leaving them feeling empty and worthless, mental abuse the foundation of most domestic abuse.

I agree with the OP Caroline is the bitchiest person they have ever had in BB. The way she nominated this week was a prime example of her turning it round. She accused Lauren of not liking her so it was all Lauren's fault and not hers. She is unbelievable. Her little rants to other housemates to stir things up and incrediibly evil.

I'm not at all keen on Conor but he is more honest and forthright than Caroline is, she is completely duplicious and accuses others of everything she is doing herself.

you did see her recent bedtime rant about the spoon recently. I wish Lauren had burst in and played the 'girl crying card' framing Caroline for the bully she is and NOT letting it go. This might wake the others up to the fact that "The only thing necessary for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing." though I doubt it.

I totally agree but I doubt if Lauren will not give her the satisfaction of seeing her cry again. Whilst I would like to see her confront the nasty bully I fear that she would only come off worse as Caroline would turn it all round and manipulate the situation to her advantage (as she always does).

I don't get the impression that the way Connor 'is' is down to immaturity like it is with Caroline. With Caroline, she will probably grow up eventually and this constant bitching of everyone (in the style she does it) might change once she has found something to care about in her life, or even someone to care about (as she hasn't been lucky so far and maybe deep down that is bugging her and making her feel inadequate). This "I can't be bothered attitude" of hers though I think is part of a big front that she uses at this point in her life while she hasn't got anything clear to aim for. She seems to have no target in life, cares little about others opinions of her (which I think is a defence mechanism) and maybe she hasn't got a boy/man yet becasue this attitude to them is off-putting (just possibly). All while she has been in the BB house I don't know what Caroline likes or lives for, in general (as admittingly so with some of the others Insiders/Outsiders too) though more so the sense with her. She has this sort of monotonous attitude and drone of a voice that expresses all this, and her huffy puffy dislays of body language show this lack of enthusiam which you would associate more with more with restless people that hadn't yet seen and explored the world (like Caroline in part has). Silly as this sounds, I think if Caroline had a target in life, whether a career one or getting to know someone on a non judgemental basis for love or friendship (which seems hard for her by her own description) then she might then be filled with the sense of fulfilment of something she genuinely cares about, or for! And then a boost of energy and drive will come from that with out the amount of effort that she's struggling to apply with (seemingly) less of that now. I don't know what element that it is but she is lacking something severely and in place of it this stupid and immature "I don't care attitude" remains. Her VT showed her to be a somewhat uninspiring person/personality that uses jokes and a burst of laughter here and there to cover up the missing elements, and I think she needs to find a way to inspire herself out of the type of person she is now (as I don't think she we are just seeing a BB Caroline, I think it's a life one too ,judging by her general views). Once she has a life focus maybe she won't need to focus on complaining and projecting her insecurities about her own negatives onto other people. I know this seems like a harsh judgement of her, but we've all met a Caroline before and as loathsoe as those individuals are, you can find a grain of pity and smidgen of understand for them too.

With Connor though, he has a girlfirend, someone to love and care about and fill him with a sense of being warm and happy and yet there is ( I sense) this boiling anger of a temperament inside him that is always simmering just under the surface and comes out in the way he speaks and his entire body language that just isn't nice. In a way he and Caroline both seem bummed about something from their life and even though they're quite different people, I reckon they subconciously bond on that level of not having yet found a way to correct it. Like with Arron, you hope Caroline will change with maturity becuase for people of their age they seriously seriously lack it (on a very embarrassing level).

But with Connor, I don't find him immature particularly (certainly not his most notable trait anyway) so I think his problem/issue comes from somewhere else. Maybe he suffered a rejection once that hit him quite hard and he didn't take it well and it became a chip that he carries on his shoulder now throughtout his life. Then he gets onto Big Brother and on the VT he puts himself out there as this so called fun guy that likes to have a laugh, blah blah blah but then BOOM!!!, he gets a sense of rejection right in the first day with unexpected noms and he's back relieving a feeling that he loathes to feel....but this time at the hands of Deana (someone that doesn't know how great 'he thinks' he is) and how dare she make him feel uncomfortable again, and plus on national tv as well! So rejection and bearing a grudge seem to big his attitue problem, and clearly (as saw with his second non news with Aaron) doesn't react well to it at all.

With Caroline, when she realises that life is not just one long holiday and you actually have to find something in it that feels worth it, maybe she'll become a better person. With Connor, I don't know, he's not just hard work mentally but his agressive physicaly side makes it doubly hard to approach and hence help to change. I know my impression of these two isn't going to match many peoples on here and I don't mind at all if you don't agree with a word of it and your opinion is the complete opposite. I quite like that sometimes.

This is just my opinion of them based on what I've gleamed from BB Main show, BOTS, Live Feed and other titbits that you read about. I'm not saying it's right, just my own opinion (just like we all have them). Oh and, it's easy to dislike Connor (just slightly) more that Caroline, very easy indeed. I don't hate him, I just really dislike him and feel a whole amount of pity for him, prob more pity for him than Caroline actually.

You make some good points Miriam but Caroline must be the most negative energy draining vampire they have ever had on this show. Where does all that hate and negativity come from? It would appearthat she comes from a comfortable background and has had every advantage in life.

Conor's main problem with Deana is that she doesn't stroke his ego. I wondered if it was a class thing at first but he gets on with Caroline because she does pander to him and laughs at his jokes.

The pair of them have ruined the experience and destroyed any chance of enjoyment for some of their fellow housemates but I feel Caroline is the worst offender here. The way Conor has spoken to Deana is completely reprehensible but at least he has always been honest in his dislike of her whereas Caroline has backstabbed liberally at every opportunity.and spread disharmony like a little cloud of doom.

Hi haphas, I agree with all your comment about Caroline too, that vampire likeness is a great one! There are so many things about both of them that could add layers to why they are both they way they are. I think the odd thing that someone said to me the other day was that Connor is 'open' and 'honest' because he intends to hurt you, and via his words and his physicality he imposes the opinion he has onto you because he wants to see and enjoy the effects of what he inflicts. With Caroline though, she says things in whispers behind your back because she never actually intends to tell you them face to face becaus she can't actually deal with the effect her words have on a person. She can deal with the act of being mean but not the responsibilty of the aftermath which signifies she's actually out of her depth. With Connor though he owns his meanness (is that a word?) and takes full responsibly for it which some may say and confuse as being honest, but where does the respect for knowing he is a pece of work seem as any better than knowing Caroline says things when people have not straightback defence. There is equally no defence with Connor either, you can't defend yourself against him when he's there in front of you and he and rh other person knows it, even when you've heard what he says and you try and come back at him you can't because nothing shows him as wrong or weak. Caroline knows she's wrong deep down, that's why she reverts to being a giggly child whereas Connor just gets bigger and louder. This is a good discussion point.

To add, you'd think a girl that has had the schooling and perks of her life would be a happier and more grateful one but whatever this issue she has with her parents might point to that an perhaps some from of resentment that isn't necessarily money related. I still think her main problem stems from feeling like something is lacking within her. I think she is the way she is because she feels inadequate and I think Connor is the way he out of not wanting to feel inadequate again an therefore adopting this persona that he is more and you will not have any chance of knocking him off his perch.
