Luke A - Please Put Us All Out Of Our Misery

If Luke stays this week, it will be the same thing next week as he goes round each house mate having a one-to-one conversation trying to get people to like him.

No more please.

He is so embarrassing and cringey to watch!
I like Caroline more than I have ever liked him.

Pathetic isn't it?

He's been telling us for weeks how they're all horrible people and now that he's up for eviction he suddenly wants to 'make up' with them.

It's all an act. He's being fake.

I think we've all had more than enough of the poor me act.

It's no surprise BB has gone the way it has when the people still watching it are so cynical that they can't even comprehend the idea that someone might just be a decent human being without a game plan.

He's living in a house with people who don't like him, he doesn't understand why that's the case and could be cooped up with them for another 3 or 4 weeks.... so he was trying to tackle the problem head on without a confrontation. What do you expect?

I feel your pain. I think the time has come to sling his hook. Nice enough lad with a serious inferiority complex that he needs to get sorted. The BB house ain't the place to do it.

As a Deana fan I want Lauren to stay. IDGAF if its Lauren Vs Deana next week I just think Luke A going and Lauren staying is the right thing to do.

So why did he wait until he was up for eviction before he did these chats??

They have the right to not like him. It's their prerogative.

Everybody is going to be up for eviction at some point. Why shouldn't it be his time?

You have whined for five weeks that he hasn't attempted to address issues. Now he has become aware of them and is trying to face them head on and your still whining.

Monday was the first time any housemate has actually told him that they have a problem with him.

It's also his prerogative to question this. You can't just "dislike" someone for no reason. Even just not clicking or being too different to someone is still a reason for not liking someone. If he wants to find out why that is, that's his choice.

It takes a strong person to confront the issue of being disliked in such a calm and collected way face to face. What he did was admirable IMO,

Can I just add to that as well, it's his time fair enough, but there's still 10 other people in the house. To be up for eviction from 5 or 6 people isn't bad, but when there's 10 other people there you're clearly disliked.

Please!!! he's done it once, People can talk about him being boring all the time but he has a lot of storylines, not playing doctors and nurses like Scott and Becky.

No more please.
But I like his conversations - I find them real, likeable and mature in a house that has been desperately lacking in those qualities.

Because he was gutted at the hostility of the one to one nominations (which he took far more to heart than ultra-confident Lauren) and BB talked him through the best way to deal with this. You saw the same programme as I did.

I agree, It was the first time he has heard people tell him that they have issues with him. It was a good opportunity to address these issues, I think he just wants to be accepted by everyone, especially Luke S and he's actively doing something to try and integrate with the others, which is better than isolating himself and bitching about the fact the others don't like him.

Even if his only intention was to avoid either himself or the other outsiders being up for eviction next week, I still think he did the right thing.

Pretty obvious. It's not because he was up for eviction, it's because his fellow housemates nominated him face to face. He was confronted, for the first time, with people giving reasons for not liking him. And I think Luke took it very personally and for him having these chats were the best way for him to work through those feelings.

Yes its his choice so why didn't he ask them before he was up for eviction? He knew before he was up
they didn't like him, he said it to Adam many a time.

He told Adam and Lauren on more than one occasion Caroline and Luke S especially didn't like him. So it didn't really come as a surprise, did it?

Why is he picking now to confront them when he's known all along? If he wasn't up for eviction would he have just left it the way he has been doing? I think so.

agree 100%

it must be very exhausting to live with people who donīt seem to like him so its better to clear the air to feel more comfortable around them.
