Add 300 then minus 16.

Actually I could have done that list if I was blind to it & some one just kept call ing out figures to be added up, but I am very good at mental math despite only getting a C in my O level.

Every one is different and for some figures are scarey.

I do honestly think Becky wanted some one else to do the math because a) she dislikes Deana and b) she compued some one else would add up to a lesser figure.

Its hard to concentrate when things are going on around, you had background noise then someone saying things like, 'give it here, i will do it, so and so will do it, *** are you any good at maths ****? you can do it, she's sooo slow' etc etc.
Not exact words, but you get the gist

So I do not think it was an easy task to do it with all of that going on.

The ****'s are names btw not swear words haha

It is a slightly different way of doing the same thing, which is the point I was trying to make. I naturally did it that way, you did it your way. Even subtle differences can make the process easier or more difficult for a given individual.

I did it quite easily in my head, but then my maths teacher at school always used to give us a 10 minute mental maths quiz at the beginning of every lesson which I think everyone should do as it makes you quite sharp with figures.
